We spent around 4 hours out there today, and launched everything we had. Ranging from tiny rockets flown at A10-3t's all the way up to the Executioner. Understandably, we spent much of the time loading engines, and packing the wadding & the chutes to take pictures. So we don't have ANY pics, but we do have this short vid:

<object width="425" height="350"> <param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/YeZtYKiaWCY"> </param> <embed src="https://www.youtube.com/v/YeZtYKiaWCY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> </embed> </object>

And I mean we launched everything. A few times. We launched the Der Red Max, the Rubicon, Guardian, Fat Boy, Snitch, Screaming Eagle (I was extremely surprised at how well THAT one flew), the Patriarch, the Hi-Flier (sadly, it became a meal for a RET), the Executioner (of course), and a buddy of mine even got to launch some of his.

All in all, a wonderful day. And I can't wait to do it again! *checks calender for tomorrow...*

Nice video......
The flight was cool.....but what was even better was how the youngin's got a kick out of it. :proud:
Days like these are really what Model Rocketry is all about. ;) :D

I agree. It was a blast having them out there (and not just because they had the energy to chase after the rockets :D). But I especially enjoy it when they show some interest in how it all works. I try to answer whatever questions they have, but sometimes I don't know the answer (but U know people at RTF do).

It's even better when adults ask me questions. Little do they realize that I am sending out powerful brainwaves to get them into the hobby..... but I don't think it has worked yet.
