Much against my norm of low, slow and draggy....
This year, I'm building something with speed in mind :D

My hotel reservations are already made. My vacation time is already in !!!

Hotel - Check

M1850GG - check

L3 Project - underway (L3 thread updates coming)

Yee-Haw, we gonna fly some rockets.

I would love to go, just don't know if my wife would go for a "rocket vacation" this year? My daughter has become involved with my rocketry addiction, so this launch is not totally out of the question. We'll just have to see......

I didn't see anything about the impulse limit. Has it been lifted?

Unfortunately, no

Much as I would like to see an N or an O, looks like we gotta head to MDRA for those. Our hosts at METRA feel that the really big motors pose an unnecessary risk to their maintaining this great field

Title Post updated.

Extortion!

What do you want...

  • No more tube fin jokes?
  • a cessation of comments on "see it from orbit green"
  • A Sonic Burger and Cheese Fries?

Wild wild horses, couldn't drag me away.

Haven't touched a rocket for months because of all this production stuff I'm doing with school. Starting to really wanna sit in my room all day and dremmel things again.

Me and the wifey are going, that's for sure.

Now if they could only do the Polo shirts in 5XL, I'd be great.

Bob

We can get Black and White in 5XL I will add them to the web site this morning.

My son and I are planning on being there as we were the last 2. For some reason though, spending any length of time in the middle of a huge sod farm does not appeal to the wife. Too bad for her. The weather last year held off enough that Saturday when we were there turned out just fine. All the same I'm hoping for a nice weather weekend this time around!

If your wife is into needlepoint or knitting, mine is planning to have a sort of sewing circle for those ladies who would find the relentless rocketry (although I fail to understand why) dull.

I dont see what the problem with you guys. You get to choose your wives. I didn't get to choose my mom, and she turned out to be a nut job who likes rolling around in mud. A little embarrassing at times? Of course. But I cant complain when she wants to go up to launches. :D

I might have to document this nerrf for the interest of a few teachers at school. My photography teacher is sorta interested, and wants me to do an overkill scrapbook about the flying season, so I might be pointing a camera in your general directions very often.

:D (it's Valentine's day, I hope Kathy doesn't see this... LOL)

Yeah, we married guys get to "choose our wives", but dude, that is the last "choice" we get to make... Oh, our wives will make it *seem* like we're making choices, but we aren't really... :p (Kathy has me very well trained)

I sure seemed to ME that I chose this nice (read: expensive) steak house for dinner. She asked me where I wanted to eat and at some point I said "Silo's". There were some other things between those two comments that I can't recall, but it began with "where do you want to eat" and finished with me saying "Silo's" so I MUST have chosen it, right??

hhmmmmmm

At some point (usually while paying the bill) I recall glimpses of the whole conversation and I am CONVINCED that "McDonald's" was in there someplace, but I can't prove it...

Ah, such is the price of love :)

(all with tounge firmly in cheek :) - so no hate mail! :D )

Get the Garlic Steak!! It's SO yummy!!!! (IMHO)

Jim - are you still heading out tonight with the snow? We were going out, but decided to stay in. (Crab Cakes, Stuffed Clams & Bacon wrapped Fillets !!!!)
Greg

(Now back to the rockets :) )
(Did this make anyone else hungry - I am now...)

Yep, we're going out. To the Common Man (another incredible steak house). The nice thing about that one is it is only about 250 feet away from our front door... :D

My wife was reading over my shoulder when I saw this, and she'll be there with her cross-stitch.
