something special for the 3,000th member?

A quick glance at the bottom of the TRF homepage shows that we're only 218 people away from reaching 3,000 members!!! I've been thinking about this for a while, so I thought I would post and see what others think: If a vendor (or more than one vendor) here on TRF wanted to donate a kit to whomever had the honor of being the 3,000th member... . The only catch:the 3,000 member has to post build pics of his prize. (it might also make some of the lurkers step out of the shadows, too. )

if there were *really* 3000 members...

if you look at the memberlist, a HUGE portion have *no* posts at all.
another HUGE segment have a single post.

i'd imagine there's about 100 active members... maybe a couple more.

That's an excellant idea. I have done promotions similar in the past at Shootersville and it does work.

Friend...That's exactly how it is at every forum of any significant size. A core group of dedicated souls along with the staff keeps the board rolling along.
