We had one rocket and slid the fin sections over the motor mount then used blue painters tape to make sure they didn’t come off

I did not do that .. just built then flew
The rocket weighed 4pounds 3oz and they all flew fairly straight
I have the pattern for the fin if someone wants to try....all the fins had an area of 4.09 square inches

The number for each launch could vary 20 feet but the speed was always fairly consistent
We left the edges square so the edges were the same and eliminate the variable of differences in the edge if we rounded them and there were not...

Number 10 was the highest 409 feet and Number 4 was the fastest at 106 mph
An upgrade went through 4 9 volt batteries this weekend... 30 flights but it was only in the 40s outside... looking for something that would last...
