What a great day up here in N.H. Got the bike out for the first time this year. Boy it felt good. Any other riders out there. Scotty Dog

Former Cat. 3 district-level road racer in the late '80s - early '90s. Ahh, those were the days.... Now, instead of burning rubber, I burn BP and AP. What I do now doesn't burn as much money, too. ;)

Geez, when someone mentions the word "bike," I always think of the non-motorized kind. Sorry.

I have a collection of those types of bikes as well but the only road bike is my old 1989 Cannondale "Crash A Terium" road bike from when I lived in San Diego. The rest are mountain bikes

I did the mountain bike thing for a few years. I started with a Specialized basic and then I got a Gary Fisher Marlin. My buddy has a custom made Ted Wojeck? that cost him $1100 just for the frame. His bike weighs so much less then mine. Its all in what you pay for. We both ride motorized bikes now. getting up there in age and the MNT Bikes sure take a toll on this old body. Would like to get a road bike someday. I do still enjoy riding the pedal bikes. Scotty Dog

I was Cannondale all the way - on the road and on the trail. Of course, it helped that they sponsored the team. ;) But I had already bought my first C'dale (yes, a crit. version - loved that bike; the frame is still hanging on a hook in my basement) some months before I joined. My team bike and my Super V are somewhere out in the shed.

I still love 2 strokes, I knew I would make a gold mine on MX bike repairs when 4 strokes really started to take off and the owners found out how much harder and expensive it is to rebuild a 4 stroke compared to a smoker.

I have a Cinelli Capitano Nemo frame made in Italy that cost me $1,650 just for the frame and I had to wait 17 weeks for it.

We probably were members of the R1-forum at the same time, I had a incident from there about 6 years ago and never bothered posting there since. 1 of my R1's is the 2006 LE version still in the crate, I'm hoping it will turn into a good retirement fund 25 years from now along with my R7. I did purchase my R7 used though and I do ride it a few times a year.

Had both of them out this past week or so. Took a nice ride Easter Sunday on the Yamaha.
