here's my problem,
i bought 4 reloads, H128, H180.
these are for the 29mm cases, which are also aerotech.
however, when it came to relaoding the cases, i could not get the delays to fit.
i and several others from my club had a look and it seems that the reload kits have got the delay element set up, (washer, spacer, insulator) for a 38mm casing forward closure.
so what do i do?
i have lots of 24mm reloads, and the 24 and 29 forward closures seem to have the same inner diameter measurments, so i could use the 24mm delay set up with a bit of adapting with the H reloads.
or as it's really only the delay insulator that is causing the fit problem, i could fairly easily make an insulator for the 29mm closure.
or, i could make my move into electronic altimeter based deployemnt a bit earlier and simply avoid using the delay/BP ejection. (can plug the forward closure - no probs there)
or i could look at Art Applewhites 29mm saucers etc, where i don't have to use the delay etc.
really i need advice on the first two options.
also i'm concerned about insurance issues as i will be altering the motor and if anything went wrong it could/will be because of my tampering.
Don't think that there is much point in contacting aerotech, as i'm in the UK.
