I am considering designing a radio control boost glider. I've flown RC aircraft for years, so no questions there. However, my experience with rockets is limitted to Estes rockets and engines. I've only been able to find three plugged engines for use in boost gliders: Estes D11-P, Estes E9-P (couldn't find any available for purchase though), and Aerotech SU E15-PW. While this does give me a few options, I would like to determine any other possibilities.

Are there any other boost glider engines out there? Can the ejection charge on a reloadable be left out, or replaced with a spacer to allow for boost glider use?

The ejection charge itself can be left out, but the delay cannot.

If you're going to do this, I'd suggest a small dab of grease on the forward end of the delay, and putting dog barf (cellulose insulation) in the ejection charge well, then covering it with tape.
