Here is my Cherokee D clone I just finished. All parts came from Semroc and the decals came from Sandman.

Noice!

Got one on the workbench and a CC Express that's going to become a Cherokee Double-D.

Have you logged any "air time" yet?

Flew it today for the first time on a D12-5 and everything was great. Had a slight bit of weather cocking, but other than that it was a great flight. I went with a smaller parachute than what it originally called for and I am glad I did. It came down perfectly, although it was in someones back yard and the tip of the nose cone hit a concrete patio and suffered a minor chip. Other than that the flight was great.

Very very nice...one of my favorites.

I have had nothing but bad luck with my Cherokee D's.

Lost two on their first flights on D12's.

I'm doing better with my latest one but I've only flown it on C11-3's.

I would like to keep this one.

One of my favorites as well. I sure hope that I do not have bad luck with this one. I am going to add some nose weight to it, but man, it sure does get up there on a D12. BTW, your decals are great. I sprayed it with a clear laquer finish (Not one you had listed as safe, but the only thing I had on hand) and got some wrinkle in them, but not much. If I had sprayed the first couple coats more lightly then I feel that they would have not moved an inch. They still look great and I am very pleased with them.

Very Nice!

My current Cherokee D clone is from InFlight... I think this is my third... I have also had trouble getting this particular rocket back... :D

You know... Semroc also makes an upscale of the BNC-55AC for their 225 series tubing (BNC-22595). Turns out a very nice 29mm upscale. The paint has been curing for a few days now, getting ready to put some vinyl on it for next weekend's launch...

Nice job - gotta love the Cherokee-D. I like to fly mine on D12-7, and always use a streamer, usually a 4" x 4' mylar. I had to lose a few before I figured this out

The Semroc upscale NC I have fits the BTH-70, maybe thats the same as 225?

Thanks, I put a 12" chute on mine instead of the bigger one that was reccomended. So far it seems ok, but in a high wind I think I would be hard pressed to get it back. When it was coming down it looked like it hit a thermal and I thought I would never see it again, then it just came straight down.
