Okay, so my dad an I have been talking about it, and we might be going to XPRS this september. If I am going, I'm not going without a new rocket.
On top of one shot deal (if it holds together until september) I plan on making a rocket for the: Dude, where's my rocket? contest.
Here is what I came up with...
It is a minimum diameter 29mm rocket, built with 29mm blue tube, an Apogee 29mm nosecone and 1/8 inch G-10 fins, fiberglassed to the airframe. And, a 48 inch parachute
before you :bangpan: I know it's a RIDICULOUSLY large parachute for such a light rocket. There's room in black rock
Sims show about 1700 feet and a total flight time of 4 minutes and 26 seconds. On a E23T-8.
If I don't recover this one, I might get hit over the head with ye olde football bat.
If you have any suggestions, let me know. Bigger E motors perhaps?
