I am always second guessing myself, so I am taking my favorite names and making a poll so YOU can choose.

It would help if we knew more about the rocket in question, and preferably had a picture to look at.

If it's insanely dangerous, "Running With Scissors" is appropriate.
If it's likely to disappear out of sight and never be found, "Wreckless Abandonment" would be good.
"Positron" would be suitable if it is the kit of that name.
"Apogee Unlimited" would be suitable if it's a kit from the relevant company.
"I Have A Better Name" would be interesting when read out at launch time.

Sorry, the original thread is here. I couldn't figure out how to post a poll in that, so I started this thread.

I didn't put "I have a better name!" as a choice for the rocket name, it meant that you don't like any of my names and you think you have a better one. I guess it could be the name if you want it to. Who wants it to be a rocket name?

I guessed what you meant, hence the smiley on that suggestion. However, at the moment there are 5 votes for "I Have A Better Name", only 3 actual suggestions of an alternative name, 2 of them from the same person, which implies at least some of the voters actually want the rocket to be called that! (I'm not one of them...)

It's going for a good height and no tracker or beeper is mentioned, so I'm going for "Wreckless Abandonment" and hoping you actually get a chance to fly it more than once.

I almost forgot about this! We have a winner! Running With Scissors

Now all I have to do is get the tubes ready to paint, they are extremely rough and unlevel with wrinkle marks in the epoxy. If I find a good way to smooth them out, it will only take a few weeks. If I continue how I'm doing it now though (Kilz Primer coat, sand down, repeat) I don't think It will be ready for NSL.
