Once again my Ravens came up short against Indy. The blue & white looked like they had no hangover from their layoff. Congrats on a strong win. As much as it hurts me to say it, the outcome never really looked to be in doubt. Oh well, wait until next year.....;)

Can't wait to see who we are playing next week. One half wants to play Chargers and shut them down for the year. They've taken us out of the playoffs too many times. The other half want to play the Jets and prove that the victory against us in week 15 was in fact a win against the second string Colts. I'm sure it will be interesting either way!

GO COLTS!

I'm a Titans fan because they are my home team, but the Colts are only a gnat's whisker behind. GO COLTS!

Sounds like Jeff Fisher is as well! :D I'll have to say, he looked good in the Manning jersey earlier this season!

big Colts fan myself....Manning got lucky with all those turnovers .....well the Ravens helped a lot

I agree.

The Colts they will play next week will NOT be the Colts they played a few weeks ago.

When they come to Lucas Oil Stadium they all look different, but when they leave they all look the same:dark::D.

Well lets see how many Superbowl wins do the Ponies have...:D

This year's Colts have just as many as this year's Steelers. Ask current NFL players and they will tell you that now is what matters, not the past. It's a "what have you done for me lately" business. ;)

Sorry but that does not fly when it comes to records and standiings. Try again....:D

Also I was just joking with Ed.

Frankley I could careless who makes it to the superbowl this year. All I know is I will be sitting on the couch eating wings, drinking a cold one and spending time with friends and family watching the game.

I know you were kidding with him. My point was that every time a team with history gets knocked out, they start spouting about the past greatness. (Just like you did.) Every time they start spouting it, the other people start hollering that the past means nothing and now is all that counts. (Just like I did.) When some team finally beats the Steelers 6 rings, Steelers fans will again have to use the same strategy. ;)

It happened to us this year with our high school football team that has a very storied history. A neighboring school has a very one sided rivalry with us, where they win on an average of about once every 20 years. They beat us this year and some of our fans started blowing smoke with the old "Oh, and how many championships does your team have?" and "how many times have you beat us the last 100 years?" They fired right back at our town that the "past doesn't matter...we whipped your butts this year and are going to the state championships". (They got beat in the semi-finals so there is a little justice in the world.) :)

You had to mention wings. Now I'm hungry.

Here's my picks to win the Superbowl in order of preference.

1. Colts
1. Saints
3. Jets
4. Vikings

If the Superbowl has the Colts vs the Saints I'm going to cheer every time there's a score. Half of me wants to se Manning win another ring and half of me wants to see the Saints win cuz they haven't ever won a Superbowl.

Any way it comes down I'm gonna watch it.

Jeezs folks! Half the fun of the playoffs is in giving or getting a friendly jab in the ribs!

Anyone taking this too seriously needs to build a rocket and lighten up!
And for that rocket, if the chute is nylon- GO K and S!, and if it is plastic, GO Hartle!:D:cheers:

Well ya got your first 2 picks. I may actualy watch part of the SB this year (I only watch when a local team is in it). I actualy had time to watch almost 1/2 of the Colts game (that is the most of one game I watched this year).

One thing for sure, it will be a hard fought game. Neither of these teams will give up easily. I do however, hope the Colts come out on top! :D

I was glad to see the Colts win, especially after some of the hype coming from the Jets camp. After the game they interviewed Rex Ryan. Rex showed that he is as gracious when losing as he is when winning - he's a real class act. A certain head coach in the north eastern part of the country could learn a lot from Rex.

The only thing that "other coach" has learned is that winning without cheating is a lot harder! :D

The Colts should win the big one if they just play their game, give 110%, and leave it all out there on the field while taking taking care of the football and having the young guys step up and make plays. Oh, and they've already taken it one game at a time.

Archie is backing the Colts in this game...

Because Peyton is QB for the Colts. Im' sure the entire Archie Manning family are not going to be nearly as upset if the Colts do lose to the Saints when compared to if the Colts lose the SB to say the Vikings, Packers or Cards had any of them made it instead of the Saints. The most difficult game for Archie to have to watch would probably have to be Peyton's Colts vs Eli's Giants in a Superbowl but I would love it. :pop:

Well Duhhh.......this is a win-win for Archie. If Payton were to win, he can smile and say "look what my boy did".......when the Saints win, he can say "look what my home team did"........he'd be nuts not to pull for his son, but those 10 years with the Saints made a home for him. I remember watching him play live in Tulane Stadium as a kid. Great memories.

This will be a fun game regardless of which team wins..... Go Saints.
