I simply have way too much good footage from last year but this clip is a bit unique in that its very continuous and I'm paying close attention and not looking all over the place(I wonder why!) It made for a simple edit, once I found a tune I liked.

We tagged a fair bit but honestly less than I was expecting. More than a few "hang on" calls were given to the passenger which were unnecessary :D

enjoy!

That is pretty cool! Can you provide a few more details...

Where is the river? What is its depth? In the area of rapids are there rocks? How narrow are some of the channels you went through? The one with the rocky shoal on the right looked very narrow.

Had many times had you done that? (e.g., I know every bump in the gravel road going to my house and I could drive 70mph if I wanted to) How fast were you going?

What were the specs on the boat? Any special fittings (i.e., bottom reinforced, special prop)?

No rockets on that boat?

So what happened at the little break in the film when you were flying up on that tree laying across the channel (1:57)? Was that the lost hat? :D ;)

Never mind, I saw it at the end. You is nutz!! :cyclops:

Where is the river? Alberta Canada What is its depth? Ummm anything from 18" to 0" :D In the area of rapids are there rocks? hell yea, we hit a bunch of em, didnt you see it? How narrow are some of the channels you went through? they seem narrower when you're doing it, but you saw the vid! The one with the rocky shoal on the right looked very narrow.

Had many times had you done that? Lots, but that was my first and only time going downstream on that river (e.g., I know every bump in the gravel road going to my house and I could drive 70mph if I wanted to) How fast were you going? Not sure to be honest, between 35 and 60 mph

What were the specs on the boat? Any special fittings (i.e., bottom reinforced, special prop)?

1/2" 6061 T6 keel with a 1/4" qt100 steel skid plate on top of that, yea its built to take hits or we wouldnt make it home :D

there is definitely no prop lol (jetboat)

hehe

There actually is no break in the video at all, i just added a little "artistic transition" cause I looked down when we went under the tree. I figured that looked better than seeing the muddy/dirty floor of my boat for 3-4 seconds lol

The camera is attached to my hat so it tends to stay put. Im not sure how my passenger lost his hat at the end, after all that mayhem earlier lol
