I guess it's one of those pictures where you have to be in the right place at the right time. It snowed a little in Dallas today and I took Shelby (the squirrel) out to play and hopefully get a picture. She made a beeline right back into the house. I hadn't seen her move that fast since she stole a bag of Oreos off the kitchen table.


I guess she didn't want to suffer the same fate as Shelby (the car).

And from the our household up here in PA, we wish ya'll a very Merry Christmas! And on top of that, the Happy. healthy, and prosperous New Year!! Right now we're settlin' in to observe that most sacred of all holiday traditions, the showing of The Greatest Movie of all time - is it Gone With The Wind? No. The Graduate? I think not. The Wizard of Oz? Flying monkeys - give me a break. A Christmas Story? Yea, you'll put your eye out kid, but it was made for TV, doesn't count. I'm talking of course about National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! And so, in the words of Cousin-In-Law Eddie, as he's emptying the chemical toilet of the "tenament on wheels" that's parked in Clark Griswold's driveway.....

Yeah, we were going to load it up with presents and go around to the various in-laws. I washed and waxed it and left it in the driveway until it was time to go. Terri's sister stopped by wanting to do some last minute shopping, so off they went. Terri gave me a list of last minute errands to run and when I got back the car was covered in snow.

If a little snow is going to do something to the paint, I want to find out while it's still under warranty. In theory, the performance would improve with cold, dense air but the tires don't do well in the cold. I guess I won't know for sure, I'm not taking it out in the snow.
