Battle Park had a great idea, a massive skidmark launch in the memory of Paul Robinson. Lets do it again at the Red Glare 7 launch. MDRA has the goal of completely filling up the B and C racks. That is 16 rockets blasting off and spitting sparks. What can be more 'SPARKTASTIC' than that? :bangbang:

We'd like to get this off the ground on Saturday afternoon. Just so we can get things organized beforehand, please contact MDRA asap. [email protected]

PS.... a picture of this just might.... maybe.... just might make it into a certain rocket magazine.

Wow! You read my mind. I have a batch of sparky mixing now!!

My dad will fly his Nike Smoke on an M2200 it will fly from the away cell though. I will also fly my Cherokee D on a 3 grain sparky using a 1515 rail.

Ben

I'd do a sparky for Buttercup, but I don't have the Ti nor a good recipe.
WOuld be awesome to get the away cells full along with the C and B racks. That would be 20 rockets blasting off. I've been told that there will be some thermite available in order to ensure that everything lights at one time.

Why don't you do Black 5.5 on a sparky for the sparkathon? I bet the picture of all these going off will make the cover of RM.

T minus 5 days..... and the weather is looking better and better.

As we were setting up the racks Neil said it MIGHT be pushed back to Sunday, weather dependent.

Tom

Yes, it was pushed back until tomorrow. THe weather will be more cooperative tomorrow. With the cloud ceiling soo low, it was felt that it would be safer to do it when it was higher. Don't want 16 rockets appear out of the clouds just over the flight line.

WIMP,,, I guess Buttercup was the perfect name for your Ho-Jo:roll::D

Kidding,, I thought I was gonna get lucky Saturday and fly the Smoke. So I am going to fly the Smoke, and try to finish prepping the 'poon to fly today. When I get the smoke back I need to swap the altimeters from it to the 'poon. We will see. I bought another 6,000 case and the motors are all loaded up RTG. I now own 4 6,000ns motors. I'm not right

Yowza. There are a lot of things I don't tell my wife about when it comes to these rockets.

Great news about your Amraam.
