So I am playing with open rocket learning the ins and outs of it. and decided to try a cluster but I didn't want a predefined one. So one of my all time favorite rockets was the lil wild thing my Vaughn brothers. It was a central 18mm with 7 10mm's I flew it many times on a full load of a c6-7 and 7 A10p's. So I was playing with a BT 80 and found that it would fit a 24mm and 7 18mm mmt's in it. I thought to myself why not a dual deploy also. So here is the final plan. I love it and will be gathering to parts for it. Should be a great flash pan rocket.

OK just went to Louisville to drop off my wife with my daughter so they can go wedding dress shopping. Well so i had a few hours to kill. Went to Hobby town USA and found an Estes Executioner for $30.
No this is a BT80 rocket setup for 24mm. It has a coupler so i bought another coupler and waited for wife to get done. I think I will build this thing with 3 fins instead of 3 but same shape.. No thru wall tabs because of the 18mm motors gonna get in the way. So I will just glue them really strong with epoxy. Should make a really nice first dual deploy rocket. :)

They should have been C6's not A10's But the lil wildthing was a cluster of 1 18 and 7 13's

I've modified a Jon Rocket 24mm x 4 18mm by adding 4 13mm in a BT80. Made a coupler into a labrynth baffle. The BT50 motor tube runs to the top of the baffle and is a stuffer also. I have the perfect little can that fits over the protruding motor tubes. VHT header silver to spray on the bottom, should keep it somewhat protected. Body is 18" of SEMROC BT80 with a 8" section on top. A big PNC80 Bertha-like cone for now but I have a BNC-80 G-3 on it's way from SEMROC. I'll have to see how it looks, I know it will be better from a balance point with all the balsa to counterweigh the 9 motors.
