On Sunday, April 14th, at Red Glare 14 at Price, MD, I completed my Level 3 with my 1/2 Scale IRIS. It went 4400 feet (wind-coked due to the large fins and long tube length).
I did not have the time to fly the Contrail M1491 hybrid this time but my vehicle was powered by the Aerotech M-1297 White Lightning. The flame was almost as long as the rocket!
Successful recovery with 2- Perfectflite Altimeters & a MissleWorks WRC2 (backup) plus B2 Slyangle Cert -3 chute and drogue.

Special thanks to Ken at Performance Hobbies supllying all the parts over all these years, W. Fred Wallace(TAP) for being there for review, silly questions, riding to the pad and signing my paperwork and my wife for supporting me all these years and lending a helping hand.
Also thanks to Robert Dehate(AMW), Jim Amos(MIssleWorks) for technical advice plus Ben Russell(Battlepark) and Team MDRA for putting up with me since I invaded Northern Virginia 13 years ago....too many others to list.

I was honored to have dinner that night with my wife, Ken Allen, Karl and Gary of Aerotech.
It brought a smile to Gary's face when I recalled all of my three levels achieved with Aerotech products:
H220, J-350, M-1297
