Here is some help.

1. Explain why you need our input.
2. Get a better screen name. The one you have doesn't instill much confidence in you (even if it's an inside joke).
3. Give full details on who you are, where you go to school. Anything anonymous makes people question.........

I agree w/ the 3rd point in the above post... the first two aren't all that important to me.

What does concern me is not only the lack of information about the institution, but also the lack of any terms of privacy on the survey site or in your post... along with a lack of legitimate ways to track you down later for accountability purposes. If it is a thesis and you are a graduate student, I would expect a bit more effort, even for a meaningless survey.

It is obviously to gain some insight into whether people would buy a "robot launch" system. Why didn't you just ask here. Here is your 1st answer... TOTALLY USELESS! :bangpan:

Its not totally useless, and it could be a good project to get experience in robotics/electronics and all the research and stuff he will be doing. I don't beleive it will be a practical device for amateur/hobby/model rocketeers.

Why not make a "robotic" rocket launch tower which measures wind speed and direction which will align the tower to get the optimum flight trajectory?

That actually sounds like a great idea.

Well lets see... I can but my wet finger to tell direction... no cost and I can make a simple anemometer from 2 sticks and 4 paper cup.... maybe $.25 if I even cared to get the wind speed that accurate. In other words...useless. I can't think of a single thing you could add that would enhance the experience in anyway.

However, a robot squirrel or monkey that could get rockets out of trees would be WAY cool.:D
