Anyone have one of these kits laying around that they aren't interested anymore? Partial kits are fine if you let me know what's included. I understand that people probably don't have these just laying around...but it's worth a try.

You can purchase these direct from LOC/Precision "bare bones" ( no recovery items included) for a discounted price. You have to call though as they are not listed on the website that way. :dark:

Any idea what this discount is? My guess is it's not "subtract the list price of items you don't want."

Dave at www.astralisrocketry.com will drop ship any large kit including all the Bare Bones kits within one or two days. Contact Dave for a price quote. He discounts everything. I just received a Bare Bones Phoenix from him. It was shipped in about 24 hours. His website only shows smaller kits--but he can get anything. The nice thing is that they come direct from Barry---and did not spend the last 2 years going from launch to launch--getting all beat up.

Also contact Dave at www.redarrowhobbies.com and I am sure he could help you out. He does custom orders all the time. I'm not sure if he has the "bare bones" LOC kits others have mentioned here.

I could easily buy tubes and a cone and cut all of the wood parts myself. I was more or less looking for someone with one on hand that they were looking to get rid of. It'd simplify things for my lazy and living-away-from-rocket lab self.
