Bill,

PM sent for quark, if still available.

Thanks,
Fred

Do you know if the Quasar works with the non LCD GPS receiver??
It will give you the same data as you would with a TX or Mini transmitter... and you'll need "something" to read the data with (laptop or Android device) and some kind of software. The LCD receiver is a lot easier, especially with the GPS option... it's all in one device.

It won't let me send a PM for an LCD-GPS and Eggtimer Mini. :|
That is because you are a new member. You have to a be a member for a longer period of time to prove you reliability to use PMs or the yardsale.

Ooooohhh I kinda suspected that... :( dang, how long until I'd be able to send a PM since I would like to purchase the items.

@Worsaer
I'm looking for something small and...... that can do "dual" apogee events?
Can the Quark be set to fire at apogee and then a back-up apogee?
I did a quick look at the users manual and don't see that option.

I guess that the Classic altimeter can?

Quark Drogue output can have an additional 1sec delay. This is intended for the redundant backup.
To have a back-up (redundant) then you need Two Quarks.
From User's Guide:
Drogue Delay Jumper (+1S) – 2-pin header that controls the timing of the Drogue deployment
from apogee. When removed (the default) the Drogue will fire at 1 second after apogee, when
present it will fire at 2 seconds after apogee. It is also used to initiate a Drogue ground-test... see
the Ground Testing section.

So one Quark can't..
Fire at apogee then again a second or so.. or a few feet after apogee?

If not..can the Classic do the above?

Tony

@cerving
Maybe the term is...

Redundant Apogee ...events.

Single stage recovery with a back up apogee charge..sort of thing.

You can configure the Classic so that the "Main" channel fires at Apogee, and the "Drogue" channel has a 1-second delay. You can also do that with the Quantum, but the Drogue delay is configurable.

Here's what I still have available...

(1) Eggfinder TX GPS Transmitter, w/ antenna $110 ea. + shipping
