OG 1ton, some gnarly stuff up here, it grinds right through it, just go slow, 99% stock, 460 gasser (NOT a 7.3 stinker), 4:10 gears stock, BW1356, custom sleeper cab in the back seat area for quail hunting (I.E. naps/overnighters) with removeable spider bungee, go bag, ammo, gun rack, etc.....and a custom pillow my lil sis made for me...(shut it!). Pulled some Polaris Rangers and SxS's, Rhino,s', Tery-X's, etc. out of the goo/ditches/oops-a- daisies with this old pig- only costs $50 a hook. Gota 40' snatch-strap, watch this (after payment of course!) Winch? Don't need one. I stay ON the trail. Easy Peasy.
Working on compressed air, fresh water systems, dehydrated food storage (that's the hard one, no really, I've not found a good solution for that one- crazy temp swings/vibes = bad food. Might as well use cans or MRE.) and so on....etc.

Rockets (and hot chicks) ride up front.

Fred,
Glad to see that the van is still in use today.
You ought to have "notches" on it for every trip to Blackrock it has made.

We had a member who was transporting a Dynacom Scorpion to Lucerne strapped to the top Of a Porsche 911.
The second time he was stopped by the California High Way Patrol the trooper radioed ahead to others not stop him. He did get intercepted and a wave from another trooper.

Sis has a Flex cant get her out of it, crazy cargo space, good ride, pretty fast.

I love mine. It’s the second one I’ve had. I had a ‘17 first (might actually be the one in the pic… they look identical), then when Ford announced they were done making them I traded it for a low mile ‘19 (last year made). I’m dreading when it dies. Nothing compares favorably when price is part of the equation.

Hi Rich, she is actually a 579. It is the new version of the long nose 379. She has a 7" longer nose to fit the Cummins X-15 over the Paccar engine. Has 88" sleeper, TV with surround sound, Bose, DVD, fridge and microwave. Writing desk, dresser of drawers, clothes closet. Exercise room, modeling bench, lots of storage for stuff.

I want to see what the interior looks like now.

Why does it look like there’s a microwave inside the microwave??? :p

Seen the price of fuel. Always gone, Especially when somethings goes wrong. Drove this whole week in ice storm, out by Denver on Wed, Wichita Wed night, then Olivia MN on Thur to unload. whole trip most roads ice packed, and wouldn't you know, I had road salt on for a state highway dept . Glad my son did not want to do this.

Now I want to be a long haul trucker, live in luxury, and make MEGA BUCKS.
Right.....so you want to occupy the same space 24 hours a day of which 11 hours is driving no matter what the weather....
As a driver it takes a special kind of individual to want to be OTR (Over The Road).

Dude where is the Volvo wagon ?
Blew the head gasket. Just got the head rebuilt, and as soon as the weather outside is tolerable, I'll put it back together. Doesn't have AC, though...

400 horsepower and a six-speed swap will make you forget that for short trips, but long hauls to launches would be rough.
