Pump motor runs. Do I need to check the fuse ?
Maybe it’s the water fuse?

Verifying it runs means you already have checked the fuse. No need to check it again.Pump motor runs. Do I need to check the fuse ?
Same here in the finger lakes region. Wineries have been here for decades, breweries and distilleries are popping up. And most of them have tasting rooms.Nice! The same thing is actually happening around where I live. I'm just outside the city/county limits so I think the taxes are better, or some other advantage (in addition to more land). Wineries have been here for a while, but many more distilleries, breweries, and at least one cidery. There's also a tasting room that has mead, cider, beer, and wine. Big fan!
Epoxy.when you make your cat tree are you going to use heavy duty Staples to attach the carpet, or do you glue it on?
Thanks.Fingers crossed.
FWIW, I'm pulling for ya (as I'm sure everyone is) and I think about ur recovery every time I get on TRF.First followup since surgery. All hardware looks good (and there is a lot of it, yikes) and bone bits are in the correct positions. If I play nice with no load bearing for 5 more weeks I should have a good hip to start PT with. Ribs and collarbone are all looking on the way to good also.
Unfortunately, as the rest of the pain and swelling has deminished it’s become clear something is wrong in my left knee also. Everything is consistent with a torn meniscus. Near term, the treatment course is the same, rest and anti-inflammatories. If that doesn’t work then a shot, and if that doesn’t work surgery on the knee. That would suck, but it isn’t a shattered hip, so I’ll deal with that if and when the time comes.
Its becoming increasingly likely my long course triathlon days are over as even in the best recovery case 40+ mile running weeks are going to wear the hip out quickly given the cartilage damage that nothing can be done about. However, all the doctors tell me that they see no reason I can’t return to 7-10k mile years on the bike again, just need to get through the rest period. Given how things have gone, baring a setback (knee surgery), I may still be able to race the L’etape this July. My goal will certainly change from top 10% to “just stay in front of the sag wagon”, but I may still get my alpine race.
I also now have all the x-ray and CT scans before and after...WOW! It is amazing what a skilled surgery team can rebuild, and also, I'm never getting through a metal detector again.
Edit: Note that I'm actually really happy with this visit. My fear going into this was the hip wasn't healing properly, and it is healing properly. Everything else is a relatively minor problem.
And by "through the rest period" do you mean the current period of radical rest plus the full course of PT, or at least until the doctor and therapist agree on giving you the green light? Please be careful. However, all the doctors tell me that they see no reason I can’t return to 7-10k mile years on the bike again, just need to get through the rest period.
I got the biopsy result. Negative, all normal. There was virtually no doubt and no reaon to worry, but it's good to be certain.Had a wart removed. Above my lip, right under my right nostril, about 3 or 4 mm. Skipped lunch because I didn't want to keep flexing and stretching it. Slept away the afternoon.
I appreciate the concern. I assure you I'm not doing one thing in this process that the orthopedic surgeon doesn't explicitly approve. That goes for weight bearing now, driving (still a no), PT intensity when that starts or returning to riding (certainly on the trainer well before outside). I am 100% invested in the next 20 years over the next 6-12 months. I asked "Any reason I won't be able to ride 1000 miles a month when this is over" and the response was "only if you don't listen to what we're telling you during recovery."And by "through the rest period" do you mean the current period of radical rest plus the full course of PT, or at least until the doctor and therapist agree on giving you the green light? Do your cats like to sleep in the sinks?Took my wife to the VA clinic for a test. Almost fell asleep while waiting. Watched YouTube videos from Ukraine and from Tahoe. They are buried in snow. Seriously buried. And flooding at lower elevations. I'm glad we only got rain and snow in the mountains. And played with the kitten/cats. One of the girls will walk up to us and stretch up our legs. So much as saying pick me up. She likes to be carried around. These kittens like to have their belly rubbed. Never had a cat that wanted it's belly rubbed. Usually they will scratch or nibble on you. Here are the two girls. Nebula and Gamora. I didn't pose them.View attachment 558264
I have a cat who like to have her belly rubbed (occasionally) because she'll then scratch and nibble on you. It's how she like to start when in the mood for roughhousing. (Not much scratching; mostly she keeps the claws in while making the scratching motions. Mostly.)Never had a cat that wanted it's belly rubbed. Usually they will scratch or nibble on you. I think the most useful thing in dealing with all of this was the Ironman I did in October. It was a brutal 94 degrees, and I knew about 60 miles into the bike that I had to pull back, or the heat was going to end my race. That was really hard to deal with after training 15h a week for almost 2 years with the goal of going under 11h, but it was reality, physically that just wasn't possible for me in those conditions. I learned to meet myself where I am and be ok with it. In a lot of ways that's where I am now, physically I just don't have it, so I need to control what I can (got an ice pack on my knee now), stay within myself, and I'll get there as soon as I safely can.
Do you know if it's a dedicated microphone port or a combination headphones/microphone port..? Sometimes they aren't compatiblespent most of the day trying to get audio out of the newer PC I'm using and to get the microphone to work I ended up having to plug an HDMI cable into the back of the PC and that got the audio coming out the stereo but I plugged the microphone in and it would not work and said it was not connected which it was and it's a known working new microphone. I got on the support line and it never did get resolved because he said there would be a new alert come up saying to click on the download file and run it. That was an hour ago and it still hasn't come up so he wanted to get off the pc with me I guess to go to another call so I have no idea whether what he did is going to resolve the problem or not. I really have a love-hate relationship with computers
