Hi all,

Recently relocated to the PNW and was super excited for LDRS in Oregon, sad to see it moved but no sense crying over spilled milk. Looking at Oregon Rocketry's website I can't seem to find a schedule for 2022, are they still operating/am I looking in the wrong place?

I've also checked Washington Aerospace's and I plan to attend a 60 acres launch, but does anyone know if/when they are planning to host a Mansfield launch again?

Thanks

Yes, OROC is flying! You may want to join us on our monthly Zoom meetings. They are on the first Thursday of the month at 7:30 PST.

The following schedule is a draft but the dates are fairly accurate:

2022 Schedule Draft - Brothers / High Power
AP Showers: April 8-10
Spring Thunder: May 13-15
NXRS: June 9-12 (same as LDRS) Summer Skies: July 8-10
Sod Blaster (TCR): Sept. 2-5
Fillible’s Folly: Sept. 16-18
Rocketober: Oct. 14-16

Anticipating the first Saturday of each month again for Garden Home Park low power launches.

You may also want to take a look at the Gorge Rocket Club. They fly once a month on a field with a 14,000 foot ceiling in Goldendale, WA. It’s a 2 hour drive from Portland. The club has a nice website and are a nice group of people. It’s a NAR section but TRA flyers also fly there.

Hope to see you in the sage or on the farm!

Arpak, it’s my understanding that Mansfield decided to not allow the use of the town for any more launches.🥺

Add to the list Missle Madness at TCR over Memorial Day weekend (we moved our June 3 day event because of LDRS to Memorial Day weekend).

Okay, the schedule for high power and the Sheridan launches are official.

They have a different launch site now, and Scotts company is SBR Fusion Rockets.

I think they were exploring that other launch site about the time I was getting out of rocketry. Talked to Scott a few times last year to catch up and order a couple Thors. Somehow I don't have any rockets with 29 or 38 mmts, straight from 24 to 54

Aw, that's a bummer.

Arpak we have 4 great PNW rocketry clubs, WAC, OROC, Gorge Rocketry, and TriCities Rocketeers. TCR can be reached at www.tricitiesrocketeers.org
Thanks for this, I'll definitely look into it!

The weather was perfect for the Sixty Acres launch this past Sunday. Sorry you missed it.
I saw! I was planning on going but the great weather kept me at the dog park until way late in the day, next time!

Thanks everyone for the responses, it's getting me excited to get back into rocketry (as if I ever left). Different place same thrill :)

Also sneak peak, thanks to Adam for grabbing this and to @JimJarvis50 for hosting the AARG garage sale, I can't wait to strap a bunch of stupid stuff to it.
