Anyone have back issues and use a Teeter to get relief?
I'm all doped up on pain pills every day to be able to get around. I only leave the apartment to for a back injections or RF treatment. (6 times a year)
Feels like my spine is being crushed and clunks and moves around at will giving me sharp stabbing pain.
It's been continually getting worse for the past ten years to the point now my life is over, and I really don't want to go on living like this.
I asked my Doctor if one would help, and all he could say is try one and see.
I was hoping he would prescribe one and try and get some or all the cost covered by insurance.
Any experience with one, and how (if) it helped and what was your back issues would greatly appreciated.
Thank Ya'll Very Kindly.

Yes, I have a teeter and it works. Make sure you have somebody around to help get you upright, because sometimes it’s difficult to get that durn teeter to go to the upright position. Also, wear some boots that go up high and cover your ankles because otherwise you will feel the strain on your ankles from the clamps.

I had to look it up. To possibly save someone else from doing the same, a "Teeter" is also often referred to as and "inversion table" that hangs you upside down to relieve pressure on your spine.

I had one, it somewhat relieved the back pain. Finding out the source of my inflammation (wheat) and subsequently dropping 50lbs of mass helped more.

I've went from 280 to 220, where I seam to have come to a point I can't loose anymore through diet alone.
I rarely have muscle pain, it's all spine related. Was in an accident in 88. Hospital saw the broken tail bone and didn't look further.
L1, L2 & L4 blow out was over looked. Now I suffer and it's too late for much of anything to work.
Insurance won't cover a surgery, but will cover RF and injections.
From my understanding, they would have to gut me like a fish to get at my spine from the front.
Unless something new has came along in the last 10 years.

The problem is probably due to insulin resistance. I can’t get rid of the last bit of stomach fat due to it.

I haven’t had to use the teeter too often and I attribute it to its effectiveness. The few times my back has left me severely hobbled, only one or two 10-15 minute sessions have corrected the problem.

Insulin resistance is definitely a possibility. But so is thyroid. Be sure that your annual physical includes a blood panel that includes tests for thyroid function. An under active thyroid will make it much more difficult to lose weight also.
