Somewhat new to rocket electronics here. I built an Eggtimer Ion and figured out the 1S battery and found a little charger for it.
However, seeming to have more difficulty finding a 2S battery and charger to work for the quantum. Seems that there are multiple different connector types, and Im having a hard time figuring out the chargers (don't want to spend more than the rocket cost to get a charger for a single battery).

So any recommendations? The last thread I found with a link was to a discontinued product at hobby king, and amazon is a disaster.

I am gonna revive this rather than start anew. (yes I could bother Chris AGAIN, but he's been patient).
I have 3 classics. Two with 1.53 and one with 1.48b that just will not update.
I do NOT want to ever use three batteries for dual deploy. To me that is just a mess. Especially since my (admittedly) old crappy RRCs and Stratologgers can get away with one 9V.
The 1.48b has no voltage regulator IIUC. The 1.53s do. So
  1. On the early classic do (did?) you run a 3.7 for the eggtimer, and ONE battery for both A and B channels. Did you create a Y connector?
  2. On the classics with a voltage regulator, both 1.53's, can I run a SINGLE 300mah, 2S, 90C LiPo? (Of course testing but using MJS e-matches?) My guess is no. The PCB and the outputs still have to have separate batteries.

Its the one thing that makes the classic weird and confusing. Other use ONE battery. The classics 'imply' they need at least 2.

Finally don't tell me two or more are better. That is no what I am asking. I am asking how to use ONE or more than two small'ish Lipos.

Up until my falling out of rocketry 5 years ago, I'd never, ever had an RRC2 or RRC2+ fail. Nor a SL100. Hell I STILL have an AltAcc I'd use if I could find the command line utils to communicate with it! :D Just Lipos in the end are rechargeable.

If you've got the regulator on the Classic, then just wire one battery to the deployment channel connections and the main battery connection on the board with a three-way split battery cable. You could do the same for the low voltage Classic if you just install a regulator.

The Classic is very flexible, but with flexibility comes complexity. There are three separate battery connections... one for the altimeter (the B+/B- pads) and one for each of the deployment outputs (the BATA and BATB pads). You don't HAVE to use separate batteries... you just CAN. This makes it easier to use separate types of outputs... a mix of igniters and a hatch-opening solenoid, for example. Probably 99% of the people using the Classic use the regulator option with standard ematches and split the battery power 3 ways. If you're not sure how to do that, I'll be more than happy to draw you a picture... just email [email protected]
