New Dr Rocket case, anodized red.
Just listed as 7 day auction opening at $70 plus shipping. Buy now at $140 plus shipping.
eBay item number 353789599984 .

Immediately after I posted the link eBay suspended my account claiming I violated their terms. So I guess posting a link to eBay is not a good idea.

Correlation does not imply causation.

I've clicked on a ton of eBay links over the years, all of them worked. Except OP's.
OP may have had some other ongoing issues with his eBay relationship that bubbled up around the time he was trying to sell his Dr Rocket case.

Agree that correlation may not mean causation.
Tried to work issue with eBay but automated messages were vague (along the lines of may cause threat to eBay community), agent was not available on chat, and saw no other means to contact an actual human. Granted I am new to selling on eBay. Still, was very frustrating.

It appears to me that TRF allows me to sell items, but appears to me all are fixed price, not auctions. Any pointers to TRF threads on selling process would be appreciated. Still have the case and other high quality (some new) items to sell.

Setup a new account!

BTW, you will be better off posting in the "Yard Sale" forum.

Sounds like either some nosy dimwit or an automated algorithm decided you were selling missile parts or some such.
Which would be strange enough, but there are literally over 50 still active similar listings for motors, cases, and closures....by both private and commercial sellers.

Screw fee-bay. Unless you want to pay someone a percentage of the sale and what it cost to ship, there are no advantages of using them. There are other places to sell rocketry related items such as here, YORF and and Rocketry Yard Sale. I do not agree with their rules on a price must be posted here though, it should be between you and the buyer.

I wish they would set up an auction thread here. It was great when Rocketry Planet had one. It was easy and fun to sell and buy.

Frankly, yes, there is a HUGE advantage to eBay - you are advertising your goods to the world, and are more likely to sell them at a premium to the asking price.
The downside is that eBay and payment processor take ~20% commission from the sale.

I've sold items on both eBay and TRF in the past.
When I know there is something that I want to get in the hands of folks who might apricate it more, I will accept a lower transaction price and transfer a rocket kit (or car, bike, or other hobby stuff) to someone on this (or other hobby) forums.
Everything else goes on eBay.

I would have to disagree.
It's super simple and convenient to respond to for-sale offers when the asking price is listed. You know what the buyer wants, and you can make up your mind if you are willing to meet the asking price.

Alternative transaction models are all messier, and take longer to clear. You want all that - go to eBay!

I checked out Ebay’s motor cases and was appalled at the prices. Seller ALLROCKETS, based in Canada is listing Aerotech cases consistently 30% higher than vendors in the U.S.
