Because I'm a hopeless geek, this thread sent me down this road: who's got the most likes per post average?

So, I got the list of the top 20 users in number of posts and the top 20 in reaction score. Only five people are on both lists. Then I got the post counts and reactions scores for 35 other people, those only on one top 20 list. The results are below.

The data are up to date as of approximately 17:00 UTC, September 23, 2021.
Yes, there are numerous reasons that these results are definitively indicative of nothing at all. Most of all, that some of the members with the highest counts were most active before reactions were added to the forum, and so have lower scores than they deserve.

Because the results are, perhaps, most meaningful for those members with lots of posts and lots of likes, the five who are on both lists deserve special honors, and neil_w wins the forum.

that is pretty cool!

I find it humorous (as someone else noted a while ago) that some of the top poster aren't around anymore/ haven't been around since the last 'owner transition'

Funny beard? More like the lack of.. :D (inverted Van Dyke?!) :D

I just want to say I don't believe in the existence of geeks. So much so that I avoid Best Buy whenever I can, just because they're not in a position to change my philosophy.
:startrekspock:
Not on topic but I slip it in whenever I can. Carry on 🛸

There are a few names on that list that are no longer with us or no longer really post much.

Sad

But a VERY nice geekout!

Micromeister passed away a number of years ago.

JAL3 dropped off this site four or five years ago when he had a job transfer that cut virtually all of his free time and the lost almost everything (including much of his health) in Hurricane Harvey in 2017. He recently resurfaced but us, at this time, only here to sell off much/most of his lifetime collection of unbuilt models (which were in storage in another city when Harvey hit).
Jim Flis is still here but, having sold Fliskits he no longer posts 20 times per day as he once did (and 20 might be too low an estimate).

I met LukeStrawwalker, briefly, at NARAM in Cincinnati. He's a nice guy in person, and contributedbsome awesome stuff here on the forum, but ultimately wasn't able to remain civil (from time to time) and earned himself a ban. ☹. Pity. His contributions were valuable.

Several others I know, but really don't know any specifics about why they are here less than they once did.

Is "Geek" truly the correct definition for your "Hopeless" condition?
Perhaps Nerd fits the bill better.
Doofus maybe?

Be that as it may, you appear to have way to much time on your hands . . . wouldn't "Time on your hands" simply mean you own a wristwatch?
Sometimes I overthink an issue.
