How are you all charging the 9 maH battery? Since nothing was mentioned on the Flightsketch website I assumed incorrectly that it would be chargeable with the Flightsketch charger, which I have for my Mini's. It isn't. It doesn't fit ANY of my charger ports and I have several chargers for the seven different LiPo battery models in my inventory. What am I missing?

Flummoxed and annoyed....

Nevermind. I thought I had ordered the Flightsketch charger; I didn't. I already have two 1S chargers, this will be my 3rd. The lack of standards in the LiPo space is maddening....

I don’t know of any other 1s chargers that go low enough in charge rate for a 9 mAh cell. Get the one Russ is selling and set it as in kuririn’s post (at 15mA charge rate).

You COULD make an adapter to whatever chargers you already have, but in the end that will be more hassle than just getting one from Russ unless you already have the necessary bits already on hand.

Agree with your comment about lack of standards….and not just for 1s. I have seen at least five different kinds of balance connector in my use of LiPolys in RC airplanes, and one case where the same plug was used by two different companies and wired in opposite ways! Power connectors have been a mess since electric powered models started appearing in the early 1980s as well, long before we had lithium-based batteries to charge them.

Yup. For the 1S batteries, it's a lot easier just to get the charger that goes with that battery type/connector, and be done with it. A lot less chance of overcharging your battery, too.
