Minimum deployment height?

I have a missileworks RRC2L dual deploy altimeter and was wondering if anyone knows if there's a minimum altitude/speed for proper deployment to occur? Thanks.

Depends on the size/weight of the rocket. What are the specs of the bird?

Off hand minimum recommendation would be 500' not knowing any other details.

There are simply too many variables for a one size fits all answer. Packing tightness and method, pre-deployment descent rate, drogue or drougeless, chute type and size, and risk acceptance are just a few considerations. You’ll best get to know the optimum main deployment altitude based on observed performance. Personally, I never go below 400 feet to start, and adjust from there. This personal practice applies to both conventional main deployment as well as Jolly Logic Chute Release.

Thanks tsmith. The LDA is what I was looking for. Went back to the manual and found that it is set to 300 feet and can be adjusted down to 100 feet. I'm good with 300 feet. Thanks again!!
