So I think it's been about 7 mo since the last comments about the online company Firefox, most of which were highly negative. I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck of recent contacting them, anyone at all? I've called numerous times these past few weeks (ready to buy) but still they're still playing ghost. No answers, no replies. No nothing. Frankly, if this in the way it's going to be I'd rather have them take down their website than play deceptive games with the public as they have been doing. Probably not a bad idea to petition them to just disappear or fix their problem like any legitimate business enterprise would do. This has gone on far too long. My 2C.

If the feedback I've seen lately is any indication, Firefox's service is, at the very least, spotty. Skylighter's prices are pretty high, and they have fewer propellant chemicals, but I've never had a problem with their service.

Firefox is basically defunct. They never recovered from the CSPC ruling against them.
Skylighter is an option. So is pyrochemsource.

I found pban on ebay awhile back, but skylighter has all the curatives./additives.
I ordered from Firefox 1 month ago. It arrived in 10 days.

Whew! How’d you ever navigate the Firefox website? Maybe it’s my browser but after a few minutes of trying to wade through it I threw in the towel.
That is a challenge all its own. I order again just before Xmas. My order was for 3 of one item and I only received one. They send a second package and it is on its way.

If you don't mind, what did you order? I ordered December 10th, and have heard nothing but automated email replies. Tried email a few times and left a couple voicemails; just silence. My order was for tepanol.
Conductive lampback, igniter kits, and graphite.
My last order of AP from Firefox came complete with staples and dead bugs in the AP. Oh, and the bags of AP were mylar bags that were aged and broke open and then placed into garbage bags and then put in the shipping box. The garbage bags had holes in them and leaked into the main shipped box. I had to sift 2 lbs of AP from an entire box full of shredded paper packing and another 7 lbs out of the garbage bags. When I sent in pictures and a complaint, it was never responded to.
This order had (7) items in it, only (3) items were shipped and the remaining (4) items were cancelled. Unfortunately, (2) of the (4) items are hard to obtain and I still do not have them.

I figured I'd bump this up JUST IN CASE anyone was on the fence about ordering from Firefox-Fx.
Received my very FIRST Firefox-FX order complete and inside of a tied up trash bag! Wooo hooo! It landed on my steps just a couple months ago.
It was for a few things including some Nitrocellulose solid, Liquid Element (1lb conductive match kit) and a few other odds and ends all were ORM-D and hazmat exempt.
I did have to wait quite a long while to recieve it. By the time it came I had forgotten about the order as it took about 3 months.
That being said maybe it was because I was a brand new customer. I had to send in the required 1st time buyer documentation along with my order form. Considering it's obviously a small operation and all of the regulations this guy must have to study on a daily basis to ensure he is following the law to the "T" must be very time consuming. All in all I was very happy to open it and realize what it was!
I can confirm (at least for me on a relatively small order) Firefox-FX is still up and running!

Depending on what species the dead bugs are, you can leave them in replace a certain percentage of your metals with them, the voids they create are also great burn rate enhancers.
I saw this thread and ordered from them on 28 Jan. It shipped out within a week and arrived two days ago. I ordered tepanol and lecithin, and was a returning customer. It all arrived just fine and I have no complaints.

Anyone know what's up with firefox-fx website? I just tried to browse the site and it seems like there may be some domain registration or hosting issues? However the domain registry expiration is: 2024-06-29 according to the whois lookup.

In the webhosting business that page is from the Webserver hoster. Someone forgot to pay a bill is the likely issue.
My guess is this is the end of Firefox.
Just did a search and called them Phone is disconnected. I'm going to email but its not looking good. I'm looking for copy's of their booklets They had some good recipes. Please reach out if you have them. Thank you

Good news, I decided to pop the URL in this evening. and what a relief; the Firefox-fx PAGE IS BACK UP!
Looks like the previous suspicions of a missed webhosting payment may very well have been the issue.
Sgtinf, the last time I ordered from firefox-fx I tried to email and call after a month and a half went by with no confirmation or contact. When I called the phone number it was disconnected back then as well. After another month and a half went by and I found a box on my porch, sure enough it was my full order. Certainly wasn't quick but my order did eventually come. One thing to note, this order was made during the tail end of covid. It's possible this had something to do with the excessive wait, though I was a happy customer regardless.
Over the years I have purchased a propellant making book and supplies from them, including powered Al. They got in trouble about selling certain chemicals to the public. Since I live not too far from Pocatello, Idaho I drove out to their location in the country to pick up the order. It would be ashamed if we lost that source of supplies. I still have some of the supplies I bought from them.
