I'm looking to sell my SHR Saturn V kit. This kit has all the "upgrades" in the new kits. I bought it about a year ago but have not had time to build. The kit is complete with an option for a 54mm or 38mm motor mount. The retail price for the kit is $449.00. I will sell mine for $350. Shipping is extra (probably about $45. via USPS).

I will have the rocket at Red Glare this weekend (17-19 Apr) with a F/S sign on it.

If you'd like to purchase a new one from Sheri, go here:

SOLD!

Sheri better edit here site. She DOES NOT have the largest Saturn V kit on the market.

Ben

Well, for the sake of clarity,.....she claims the largest DETAILED flying Saturn V on the market on the banner headline.....which is related to her "upgraded" kit, and hence more recent.

Direct quote:
"THESE DETAILED RESIN PARTS MAKE THIS THE LARGEST DETAILED FLYING SATURN V MODEL "

And I suspect therein is the difference.
How detailed is the What's Up Hobbies version?

I would compare the many detailed parts shown on her website - to whatever you get for $800 plus on the other one...then make your own judgement.
A quick glance appeared to show 3x as many resin parts on Sheri's Saturn V kit, compared to the ten fiberglass parts claimed at WUH website.

(If you like doing LOTS of corrugations AND paying more money...the WUH Saturn V may be to your liking. Of course the "price was right" for you Ben...eh?)

It comes with many hundreds of detail parts. Too many for me to have spent the time counting. Too many for Ben to have actually installed all of them. ;)

The catalog page says "ten custom molded" pieces. Those are the nosecone, four engine fairings, and five nozzles. He should mention all of the resin detail pieces and all the half-round used for stringers. It is a *lot* of parts...

The Saturn V is still available.......

I'll even ship it to Brazil for $450 (estimate, $350 plus actual shipping cost).

That is a savings of over $169 US dollars.:y:

SOLD!
