Beautiful rocket. The video says Tim assembled this and boy talk about a lot of detail work your rocket looks fantastic you put a lot of time and effort into getting it looking that good thanks for sharing

That IS a beautiful rocket - lotsa character! Great job on the build too! It would be extremely difficult to pick my fav pic - they're all great pics!

The 3 engine part was my favorite. Flew this twice at the same launch, unfortunately, one of the boosters didn't light on flight two, so didn't get as cool a shot. Think it was just a split second delay and it pulled out the igniter as it was lighting. Did see evidence of this with the three lead whip that I used to launch it.

Mine had its first flight at URRF 7.5 this last weekend (Fri 6/25)

I like the gold highlights on yours

The gold is only on the portholes. I painted them instead of using the decals. As for the bands that is brass. On the wood 'barrel' part I used black. I am thinking of doing another band of rivets around the middle of the 'barrel.'

Hope its ok that I join this thread.
I finally finished my build of this amazing rocket. I am a big fan of Steam Punk so I just had to build this one.
Subtle tweaks I did:
Traditional nose cone deploy with center coupler converted into blast deflector
Wood look fins with rivet bands in steel.
Wood and banded launch lugs to match middle barrel.
Threaded engine retainers.
Craft adhesive pearls 3mm and 2mm for the rivets.
Finish is Minwax stain for the wood bits, Rustolium Hammered Finnish for the steel and Rustolium metallic silver for the dome.
such a fun build
