What Can I do with These 29 mm Body Tubes

I would just give them to someone who needs them. I don’t think I will build any F or G powered rockets anytime soon. I would give them to a good home (as long as my shipping costs are reimbursed).
 
I've flown my L Aug twice. Only issue with her is lack of body tube space. This causes a shotgun parachute ejection due to the min dia tube and E/F black powder motors. On one launch the screw eye pulled out of the nose cone. Strongly suggest a hardwood dowel or "biscuit" be installed in the cone to anchor the screw eye, and maybe a thicker Kevlar cord.

Also if you scratchbuild you may want to add a couple inches of length to make prep easier.
It 'literally' screams on takeoff. Tamiya Bright Orange looks lots better than the Rusto "Real" Orange I used.

I have a similar situation so I print nosecones and fin cans on my 3D printer. The nosecones include the shoulder so basically all I have to do is slide the fin can on with some glue to build the rocket, other than for recovery retention. (For cardboard tubes I use a beefed up version of the Estes folded paper and for fiberglass tubes I drill two holes and use a metal rod through the rocket). If you don't have a 3D printer, maybe find a local flyer with one and work out a trade or just donate them. I basically consider them expendable in the sense if I don't get it back it has cost me very little in time or money.

I need to get a 3D printer. Everybody in my hobbies (electronics and model rockets) uses them to make cool custom parts. If it is that useful and provides that much enjoyment, it is worth the money. I have spent similar amounts of money on much dumber expenditures.
 
How about a 29mm minimum diameter rocket? I had some 29mm parts on hand, made a 29mm minimum diameter dual deploy rocket with them. Easy enough to cut your own fins.

Yep. Fins. Motor mount. No problem. Nose cone? I have no 29 mm nose. I guess I could add a custom transition to make a “payload bay” tube that then has the right size tube for a nose cone I do own. But making your own transitions is a pain.
 
What kind of tubes are they? What is the ID and OD? Apogee has all kinds of nosecones for 29mm tubes:

The outside diameter, measured with the digital caliper, is 29.93 mm. Almost 30 mm. In inches, that is 1.1783465 inches.

The wall thickness, measured with the digital caliper, is .49 mm. In inches, that is .01929 inches.

So the inside diameter is 29.93 mm - .49 mm, or 29.44 mm. That is 1.1590551 in inches.

Can I just make the "sustainer" body tube longer? Of course, then it would not be a Li'l Augie, but still...

The Augie II seems a little simpler to build. I may start with that.

Try to keep pad weight (rocket, both motors, wadding, recovery) below max lift off weight for the booster motor. Estes C6-0 is I believe max option for 18 mm booster (although many are pleading for a C5-0 to come out soon.) To my knowledge there are no composite zero delay boosters which can stage a sustainer without electronics. You COULD chad stage a 24 mm D12 to an 18 mm sustained, you would need nose weight to bring CG back to normal. Swing test might be useful.
