I am trying to decide how to attach fins. I will 3D print them.

After a night of printing, I have decided to do the print in 6 parts. I will start with 3mm think fins and a 24mm motor mount. I have no way to test stability so I will launch it and see what happens.

I'm guessing the designer of this rockets like has gone down the crapper.. Sorry I had to.

A funny thing happened a couple of years ago on Memorial Day here in Fairborn, Ohio : We had a number of EF-2-4 Tornados in the area. Fairborn, overall got off easy EXCEPT at the North end of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base ( about 2 miles north of where I live). One of the tornados hit briefly where they were building a new entrance gate and decided to pull a "Dorothy" ( reference to the movie 'Twister' with Helen Hunt) and "launched" one of two side by side Porta Pottys....somewhere. There is still a reward of $50.00 U.S. for any person who finds it.

I finished printing the demo. I will test fit it tonight. It is about 66mm square at the base with a 24mm motor mount. I did 15% infill on the top and 5% on the body. We will see if that is stable. I printed the fins to scale. It is a little heavy.

Forward or rear eject?

Bummer!

Oh well.

fins integrated into the rocket? That would be cool, although they would not be clear. Maybe mock bushes or something else from around a construction site?

concur, with few modification would work for the Tardis or an old fashioned phone booth.

I see a Police Call Box in my future. I drew up plans for a flying port a potty. But stopped dead in my tracks. I thought where am I going to put a 3' tall 4' wide rocket.
