I am building a Lance Beta (Wildman) and tried to do some research on the actual missile as I would like to try that look. I found many pictures of Lance missiles, but none look like the paint scheme used by both North Coast Rocketry and Wildman. (I am guessing that some Wildman builders just copied the paint scheme used by NCR.) Most do not have the upper fins, either. Does anyone know of a source for a photo of an actual Lance Beta that shows the fins and colors like that used on those kits?

Sorry, but it's not a scale rocket. It is "scale-like" and that is why you aren't finding photos of an actual Lance Beta.

I came back to this thread because while I was out feeding my dogs I remembered the Vought T-22 Assault Breaker

Can you please post or pm some pictures of the kit? Is it the 4in. kit?

The 4 inch kit is shown here in the paint scheme I've been referring to.

I'm sorry but I was looking to see the actual kit which Wildman doesn't have a picture of. I was trying to see what does and doesn't come with the kit for planning. I have never built one of his kits and was trying to order everything I would need in one go to avoid additional shipping costs. Would you consider doing a build thread? I haven't seen one of this rocket. It's a toss up for me right now between this kit and a Polecat Honest John once he releases his kits in Mid-May.

The kit comes with 8 fins, a 54mm motor mount tube, 2 centering rings, a coupler with av bay lids, upper and lower body tubes (lower slotted for fins, upper is not slotted, but scored enough to align fins), switch band, nose cone, and coupler with bulkhead for cone.
You’ll need a Kevlar strap for a bridle, and all recovery gear necessary. You’ll also need all the hardware for the av bay. You can add all that to your order. He has everything you’ll need.

Thank you; planning my build to fly more K motors with traditional dual deploy on the potential quest for L3.

I built mine with the av bay in the middle and splitting in half (conventional dual deployment), but you could conceivably just glue the coupler in and put the av bay in the nosecone coupler for HED deployment. That would allow you fly bigger motors... 😉😎
Mine is at the painter right now, or I would measure how long a motor would fit. But I think a 54/2800 should fit.

Literally the motor case I am putting an order in for. I have a 1280 and the RAS already.
