This is my first attempt at posting a thread on my Estes V2 maxi build. It may take me a while so my posts will slowly come in over time. I have ordered 3D printed fins from Boyce Aerospace. I didnt want to ho through the hassle of working the two styrene halves. I am in the process of sanding and cleaning up the 3D fins. I am also considering uprading the motor mount from 24 to 29mm. I am also going to attempt to use some of the detailing procedures from James Duffy's thread.

My 29mm motor mount upgrade plans. So I have access to a nice laser cutter and made a wooden CR for the upper CR and am keeping cardstock CR for the lower CR. The only issue is that by going to a 29mm is having a bulky retainer on the end taking away some asthetics of a scale replica.

Maybe leave the retainer off for now, or go with a slimmer retainer like AeroPack.
