Same problem here.

It would be an interesting semi-scale gas ducted stabilisation project. Some places to hide the ducts there.

How would you get the legs to deploy. This is a problem I have though about and don't have a good answer. I think BMS has a nose cone like that or close enough to modify.

Clear plastic fins, non deploying 3D printed legs.
Like the Apogee Falcon 9 Demo 2.
