It looks neat till you look at the specs. They used a 24 g motor and required a 4 oz battery Plus 2 oz more nose weight, that led to a flight weight of 14 to 17 Oz, the e6s that I typically like to use will boost maybe 13 and a half ounces but they weigh 53 g meaning you need at least another ounce of nose weight on top of that, and the smaller motors won't boost something that's near 14 oz, discs are just very hard to get a forward enough CG unless you have a long nose on them. If I was to use something with more thrust like an e20 it would still require an extra ounce at least of nose weight, and the lightweight foam structure might not survive the thrust profile and now you've got a very fast boost which is harder to pilot.

I have a small you rc foam enterprise as well as the drone one...not sure if either would be suitable for rbg, but maybe...

One of my long term back burner projects is to make a scratch version of the Estes Enterprise rocket fly without that probe...was even thinking any it the last few nights and it would be quite a challenge!IMG_20210303_111252104.jpg
