Is this one of the crayon banks that has been converted to a rocket? Here in Ohio we bought them at Menards a few months ago for $5. A quick check shows a fair number in stock; one or two per store.

I thought my damaged crayon rocket had had a 5 1/2" airframe, but it measures at 5 3/4" OD with an inner diameter of 5 5/8". Where can an appropriate replacement NC be found? I've seen a few 5.38" and 5/5" (e.g., https://www.apogeerockets.com/Building_Supplies/Nose_Cones/High_Power_Nose_Cones?sort=20a&page=2), but so far nothing quite the right size.

A transition piece might also work, say 5 1/2" to 4", the rocket would no longer be a crayon but that's OK.

Thanks,
Bill
Is it a "Ralphco" 5" Crayon bank?

Thanks for the replies. I was given this as a fully assembled, rear-ejection crayon rocket, so I'm not sure where it came from. But a google search suggests that the Menards and Ralphco crayon banks are 4" diameter, mine is 5 3/4".

There used to be a 5" diameter Ralphco crayon bank. I built a red one in 1996 and got many flights out of it for 10 years. H/I/J, mostly EX motors. It ended up hanging from a tree for several weeks through rain storms. Finally came down but the cardboard was ruined. I still have the nosecone somewhere. I also have a blue 5" bank never converted. Attached are my plans from 1996/7. Definitely 5.0" OD.

seems like this would be a good 3D printer project.

I see that toy maker Ralphco went out of business in 2004

Guess even a 5" Ralphco NC would be too small for my needs

A 3D printed NC would be great, anyone interested in making and selling me one?
