I think the missile size is a little over a foot long. I have another kit on the way much later in time. Maybe one for plastic conversion? But I also have the 2 sizes 1/24 and 1/14 kits from Boyce Aerospace coming which will fly. They are 3d printed all composite material. Anyone ever build one of those?

Oh man, I want one! 🤪 🤪 🤪

Where did you find that? I build 1/35 modern (post WWII) tanks and armor and this would fit right in! Looks like a very nice kit, though I'm not familiar with the that particular company.

I for one would be very interested in a build thread if you were so inclined (and it was deemed appropriate to the forum, of course).

I found these on ebay. This particular one came from Mark twain hobbies in missouri. The first one I bought is coming from China unfortunately. There are 2 kits...#15105 has foreign markings in the decals. #15106 is the one you might want with American markings. There are listings from Taiwan with a $59.95 price I believe. I don't know if there are any more stateside...but there may be. It's very detailed with lots of electrical details! They can be combined in a battery of 4 units of you have the space!

Love the Nike's. Here is a Hercules and an Ajax I built 15 or 20 years ago. Still have them. Picture taken today. Both have flown in successful (as evidenced by the picture) Two stage configuration on more than one occasion. Always worked perfectly. Home made staging electronics. Hercules is 5 29mm tubes (lower stage) to 1 29 mm tube upper stage. Usually fly with like 2 g-80's lower to 1 g xx upper. Ajax is one 38mm lower to one 29mm upper. Fly with H lower to g upper usually. Obviously they can handle a lot more but I like staging at lower altitude for visual effect. (plus I get them back). Really need to fly more. Both of these are scratch built

Coincidentally I was working on the 1/14 Boyce Nike Ajax this morning.
It's an easy build.
The 1/14 Nike Herc is a little out of my budget.
I have the plans for the Apogee 4x13 mm cluster Nike Herc. waiting in the build pile.

My scratch built Nike Ajax, 24mm. Basically followed the Estes plan. Tango Papa decals. Spent way too much time on Google images looking for paint details! I fly it about once a year.

Deeman is that 18mm or 24mm...nice! Kuririn I'd like to see the Boyce Nike Ajax when finished. I was going to get one of those too if the Boyce Hercules work out. Obsessed!!

Looking through some of my photos and remembered this.

Black Rock LDRS about 1990.

If my mind hasn't failed, I think it went on 4 K motors.

The guy in the light colored shirt is Ron Schultz of LOC, I can't remember the other guys name.

Sucks being 70+
