USPS had had one hell of a time this Christmas season. Everyone’s coffee went out at the same time basically. Priority mail, 2-3 day. If you guys enjoyed the coffee and decide to order again message me I will give you a discount code because of the delayed shipments.

I was really impressed with this lot. I am expect more New Guinea coffees in the next few months. This is my favorite time of year for coffees from Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
I live 15 miles NW of Spooner, WI. A few years ago a small grocery store opened, selling mostly organic foods. They also roast their own coffee. 
They have a good selection of whole beans. They recently bought some organic beans from Rwanda. They medium roasted it and it is wonderful. I'm lucky to have a good local roaster as I do love good coffee.

There are other Peaberrys but so-far none are as good. It's not always available, I think I shall try to place an order too.

When I received my coffee order I had just the day before opened a bag of the local I've been brewing..
It took a bit till i was done with it before I would open another bag..
I opened the Papua New Guinea Korgua Estate Peaberry this morning..

Unfreakinbelievable..
I haven't had a cup of coffee this good in years,
Like I said before, I used to get consistently fantastic coffee from East Africa, Tanzanian peaberry, Kenya AA..
The coffee's from there just haven't beem what they used to be..
This bag I just opened is some of the best coffee I've ever had, from anywhere..
I can't wait to open the other bag..

I’m so glad you’re digging it! Those regions all produce fabulous coffees but I feel the trend of extremely light roasting that has taken over doesn’t do these coffees justice. It’s just my opinion on it, everyone likes coffee their own way and I don’t think you should let anyone tell you what you like!!!!! I like roasting to a much more developed coffee than is trendy, and I’m just hoping to find people that enjoy it that way as well!
I always have a decaf offered on the site. I try to offer great decaf, not as an afterthought, but because I believe you should be able to enjoy great coffee flavor even if you may not want the caffeine. Right now I have a decaf from Rwanda, a wonderful East African coffee producer. The coffee is a water process decaf.

The Korgua Estate Peaberry was my favorite; all 3 that I ordered were delicious. Ordered more the Korgua and going to try the Sumatra, as almost every coffee I've had from Sumatra I've loved. Kudos to great beans and roasts!
Excellent! Sumatra’s are my personal favorite. It’s a polarizing coffee. People either love it or hate it

Pumpkin Spice Creamer makes coffee tolerable
I fully agree! The trend towards brown hot water vs coffee taste is disappointing.
Now on that note, I received my Korgua Estate Peaberry and while I like it, I would prefer just a slightly darker roast.
But again that is personal preference.
My go-to is normally Sumatra in a dark roast.
I like a coffee to leave a lingering after-taste in my mouth that Sumatra typically does.
But I am also a beer brewer and familiar with the effect that over-roasting has on flavor.
It is a balancing act.
I tried to roast that PNG darker when I first got it and everything sort of disappeared. Other PNGs have handled the heat better, but I had to back off a bit on these peaberrys. The Sumatra always can handle a darker profile and I believe really shine at what I consider Vienna roast. And yes, the lingering flavors are what I’m looking for as well.
p.s. maybe that come my years in the brewery as well

I love coffee
I love coffee too, espresso is my version of choice, but yesterday it took vengeance on me. I had meetings all morning, hit the coffee machine between each one and just lost track. I got the shakes around 1, and took my pulse...about 20 bpm fast. I crashed so hard around 5 (exhausted, vaguely nauseous) it was self-inflicted stupid miserable.
Looking back I was over 10 shots, probably 12-14...too freakin much. Between the Nespresso at home and the Jura at work, it is real easy to rack up the caffeine hits. I had 4 shots today, then switched to water, much better.

When Starbucks first came to town (~30yrs ago), they offered free refills.
So I head downtown for a coffee one morning and proceed to sit outside in their little sidewalk area and enjoy it.
Of course while sitting there friends would stop by so I just stuck around and kept drinking coffee.
Well 3 hrs and 8+ friends later I had gone in and refilled probably 7 - 8 times. I'm talking Grande cups which are now Venti (they decided to drop "Short" and shift Grande down a notch but I digress).
I was LIT! Not a pleasant feeling at all.
Lesson learned, Caffeine is evil.
My caffeine overdose story is a little different. My wife and I were making chocolate truffles for family Christmas presents one year. It took a long time so I was drinking coffee and eating chocolate. We made some with espresso beans on top and I also made a chai tea concentrate to add to one batch. Anyway, after hours of this (sampling the whole time) I went to bed. I woke up not long after and the room was spinning like I had drank a whole bottle of tequila!!!! Mind you, I had been sober for around 15 years at that time but I was instantly brought back to my crazy youth by that old familiar feeling!!!! I didn’t throw up but thought I was going to. I figured out later it was a caffeine O.D.!!!
I really can’t eat truffles anymore!!! But I can’t kick the coffee habit!!! I don’t mess with drinking a bunch of shots though, that can be dangerous weather it’s coffee or tequila

It's pretty rare I "OD" on coffee. Been drinking coffee for 38+ years. My head gets tingly and get some jitters for a bit, but that's about it. I can drink a cup of coffee and go right to bed and sleep like a baby. I think it's because I'm hyperactive (or so my wife says!) 
Coffee can get me rollin' in the morning and relax me when I get home. The Peaberry seems like it's light, but it has some incredibly rich flavors to it; bypasses my desire for a "darker roast" like a Sumatra. The Ethiopia you had was a great coffee (I like Ethiopian Coffee's as well) was rich and dark; not quite the bite of a Sumatran coffee, but delicious nonetheless. I am really looking forward to your Sumatran roast!

I had recently returned from Starbucks at lunchtime and had purchased a small bag of their chocolate covered espresso beans.
One of the engineers saw me pop one in my mouth as I walked through her quad and asked what they were. I told her and offered some. She took a small handful and I went back to my desk. About an hour later I went by her desk and she looked like she was about to come unglued. When she saw me the first words out of he mouth were "No more of those.." LOL.
I felt a little bad but she said she did enjoy the first six or so so I didn't feel too bad.
Ok. Sumatran is my new favorite. Rich and earthy, with date/fig flavors and a touch of persimmon (and maybe blueberry?). Really enjoying your coffees! On our weekend away we did a coffee tasting at one of the local outlets. There was a bit of an introduction about the products and then the tasting (and buying). There was a Brazilian one, one from Ethiopia, one blended brew, and a tea called cascara made from the outer flesh of the berries (tastes a bit like raisins). Interesting expedition.
Looks like fun. I haven’t had the cascara yet. I see the coffee in your hand, but what is in all the other cups on the table??
I'm actually holding up the cascara. The other drinks were the three types of coffee I got to before the tea.
