I've no idea on the if/why but I do recall seeing an anti EU comment accompanying one of the products for sale on that website some years back (the vendor used to include commentary alongside the pictures of products). It would indeed be a sad irony if that business is now experiencing problems as a result of Brexit.Still no word from them however I noticed the update on the site today. Was starting to wonder if Brexit related as my wife runs an online business and the past few days have been something of a headache with DHL and international deliveries... Between this and Covid it's a nightmare trying to do business right now. Everyone was unable to adequately prepare due to everything getting left by the Government until the last minute. Typical catastrophic bungling UK Govt incompetence...
I hope they can get their issues with DHL and import sorted and get back in business soon. I've had a couple of orders in the past from them and they've been good. Also they sell Klima motors which are better IMO than Estes ones...
Indeed...as many of us feared. Like other rocketeers this side of the Channel in the past I have bought stuff from Euro Space Technologies, and I was always impressed by their customer service, and occasionally directly from Klima Raketen who were also fast and efficient. I assumed that from 31/12 that might no longer be possible, and it seems I was correct.Brexit had made business with the UK quite difficult, plus factoring in all the COVID shutdowns. Most businesses outside of the UK have stopped shipping direct to UK customers because of the new VAT regulations for sellers.

Of course we all know the British state in all its forms could not organise a you-know-what in a brewery.
Hi everyone,
If I may express my opinion, the Brexiteers have caused their country quite a lot of trouble. They brought it upon themselves, and now they have to live with the consequences.
I hope that this is not off-topic for our wonderful rocketry website. I don't believe that I am being off-topic, since other people have also been discussing Brexit in this forum.
Thank you.
Stanley
Glad you eventually heard back from them.Just as an update to the above, I've had a very apologetic message from the shop. Basically Brexit, arsey couriers and Covid has catastrophically buggered everything. Amazing how anyone is able to do business in this environment right now.
If you are having trouble try Wizard Rocketry. They are a good supplier of motors and rocket kits along with electronics and avionics. And the people are super kind there.Has anyone else had issues with the above UK vendor?
Been trying to contact them without success for several weeks regarding an order that hasn't been delivered.

There's a number of UK vendors with alot of stock - rockets and things, wizard rockets and rocket and rollIt's really tough, for hobbyists in the UK at the moment with the combined impact of Brexit and the ongoing pandemic. I can relate to your experience of facing delays and uncertainties when it comes to receiving orders. It's equally challenging for vendors too considering the regulations and difficulties in shipping. Lets keep our fingers crossed that things get better soon. By the way does anyone have any suggestions for suppliers of rocketry materials, within the UK or EU who have successfully navigated these changes?
