I will, I'm finishing 3 rockets before I start it, My TLP Nike Herk its been on the back burner for to long, then paint my Semroc Sat 1b, and then a scratch dual deploy that just needs a final coat of paint. Oh and decals on my Semroc mars lander. I still have some data to collect and as many close up pictures that I can find. I might go with a 4" dia air frame & three 29mm cluster or center 38mm. It depends on how heavy it will get If I can keep it under 2lbs Ill go for 29mm. Hummm Maybe 38mm no matter what I can always use a adapter.:cool2:

Joe: you finally made your first post after joining 3 years ago?The best reference on rockets there is, IMHO. I sometimes just grab it and thumb through. Always makes me feel good . Of course it also cost me lots of money, when I start a new project. Thanks to Mr. Alway for such a great work. Cheers,
Joe
got a couple of pictures of what the inside looks like?
thanks
Got mine in the mail today... $37.95 total (includes shipping)!
Rockets of the World was one of my favorite books as a kid. My parents bought it for me when I was in elementary school, and I could spend hours reading it in the afternoon on the weekends. I really hope that a new edition comes out soon. There have been so many interesting rockets that have entered service in the last twenty years or so.
Edit: I just checked my copy, and apparently I got it for my sixth birthday. It's probably the book that I've owned for the longest in my life. Best birthday present ever.
Such a tease!I feel, in equal parts, honored and old. ;-)
I can think of so many cool books about rockets and astronomy that I pored over as a kid, and I'm really honored that my book became one of those for someone else. And I'm still chugging along on more material. Maybe this draft cover illustration will amuse you:

You can't currently. It's been out of publication for several years and there is no supply. You might find someone selling a personal copy but even that is rare.Where can I buy this book at a reasonable price?
One showed up earlier this year as a "buy-it-now" for $70 something, so keep your eye out on the auction site.Where can I buy this book at a reasonable price?
Looks like that's going to change with his post above. My 4th edition doesn't have anything for Sea Killer or Marte. It looks like an Italian anti-ship missile. Peter doesn't include many military missiles and focuses more on non-military rockets.
