Mobius ActionCam Question

At least, it is advertised as a Mobius ActionCam- box it came in says YKS. Great deal at $30 for a new one on Ebay, but makes me wonder if this is a knock-off illegally using the Mobius name. Trying to phase out my 5 ounce and bulky Aiptek camcorders for these smaller ones, in combination with the Additive Aerospace shrouds.

Anyway, the video length cycles after 5 minutes- I'd like to change it to cycle every 10 minutes. I went to the Mobius site to learn how to change the camera setting, but i cant seem to generate the SYSCFG.TXT file that is necessary to make the change.

I've never done this before- any recommendations? Otherwise, the camcorder only records for 33 minutes, although there is ample space left on the SD card. Thanks!

If they are real Mobius action cam's, you can just plug them into a computer and modify their behavior - no hand-editing config file necessary.

Before you assume that, make sure you follow the directions a couple of times. Sometimes the software doesn't see the camera the first time. Actioncam needs to be on after you plug it in. Then, in the software, you have to 'choose' the actioncam in the top box. That wasn't obvious to me the first time I used it. Sofware UX/UI is unintuitive

YKS is a China knockoff. I found some incompatibilities with Mobius software.
