I didn’t request a refund, but I was thinking about it, and was relieved to get it without having to ask.

It seemed like there were some birthing pains with this operation, and I placed my order before the kinks were worked out based on the assurance that orders would be ready to go. It turns out they weren’t ready to go, and if I had known that, I wouldn’t have ordered. So I feel like this refund is a good resolution for now.

Get the site figured out. Get the shipping figured out. Get the inventory figured out. Ship a few orders. When it’s running smoothly, I’ll take another look.

Good luck.

About twenty years ago +/-, I heard something about a company that made and sold model airplane kits. Someone purchased one of those kits from that companyand then sued that company. The buyer said the kit box did not say the "kit" had to be assembled. They filed Lawsuit in a California court, the kit company was in Eastern USA. After about 2 years of legal stuff, the kit company having invested over $50,000.00 in legal fees, the case was thrown out. It cost that company $50,000.00 to sell a $100.00 kit. Makes one wonder, why anyone would want to be in business, in the USA.

All Is Good!

The "About Us" page is up, but please check out the motor search. Is that everything you wanted? Slow, but that will be fixed once finalized.

Thanks for the input - trying to make it the way you want it!

Great!, the motor search looks very powerful. I know some had asked that they be able to filter by mmt diameter and specific case length, but I like to search by mmt diameter and impulse, regardless of case length, and if I select filters for "I" impulse & and 38 mm it only returns 3 motors (that dont have case length attached) so the other 38 mm "I" motors are not getting captured. :)
P.S. I always wished I could have a baja bug - or a Meyers Manx, but so far, no go.

I will be the first to admit that I don't really know much about high power reload hardware, but two of your 38mm prices look high (by about a factor of 10) compared to the prices for other 38mm hardware. I think they might be typos. They are:

38mm 1320N-sec casing (includes forward seal disc) $450.00 $337.50
38mm Forward Closure Standard $210.00 $157.50

These are all in the Misc section of the Shop drop down.

AH! If you hold down the "CTRL" tab, you can pick one or more diameters/case sizes for your search.

YIKES! Extra zeros there - Fixed

Very nice! I like it. Filters like this are much easier to use than stores that have the different reloads on different pages. Overall, I like the functionality. A few minor comments:

  • My preference would be to view the motor listings in one single vertical column (without photos), compared to a grid layout. I may be in the minority with this one. I like to scan down a succinct list of text, rather than scan rows and columns with images.
  • The 24/40 reloads are grouped together with the 24/60 reloads. That's ok, I know which is which.
  • Some Estes 13mm motors show up as 18mm motors (A10, A3).
  • Some Estes 24mm motors show up as 18mm (C11)
  • The Estes C6-5 bulk pack shows up as with 24mm motors.
But overall I like, these filters make it very easy to shop and find just what I'm looking for. Nice work!

I see that you're up on EBay now.
Is the EBay shipping calculator correct? $4 Economy Shipping for a big rocket like the Aerotech Mirage?
Surely the shipping must be way greater than that.

Checked out the updates, looking good!

Some items for your consideration:
  1. Motor hardware sorting my benefit from some of the same filters that you use for motors. e.g. Manufacturer, diameter, etc
  2. for this item "RMS-75/2560-6400 SYSTEM (INCLUDES FORWARD SEAL DISC)", the price seems to be missing a zero... retail is $1800, not $180 (hello, yes, I'll take three!)
  3. You have a large number of RDK's in the Misc section - these are reload delay kits. I recommend moving these to their own section under the Aerotech reloads (e.g. motors > Aerotech > RMS+ Reload Delay Kits (RDK) )
  4. double-check your prices on Aerotech hardware (at least). there are multiple items that are marked well below 25% off MSRP (MSRP shows incorrectly. e.g. 38FCC - 38mm Fwd Closure. MSRP shows $21, but AT price list shows $38)
  5. Motor sorting: Check your propellant types- multiple abbreviations seem to have an L/M/S tacked on to the propellant type. This appears to be due to the delay on the reload (short/medium/long). e.g. K550W-L shows up as WL propellant.
  6. motor sorting: the Diameter filter shows not only the diameter, but the case size (at least for aerotech). So for 54mm, there is a "54mm" option, but there are also "54/428", "54/856", and etc. It appears the LMS/DMS show up with only the diameter, but other 54mm reloads don't show up unless you select the case. Is it possible to separate the diameter and case size filters? e.g. have the diameter include all motors in that diameter, then have the case size (or DMS/LMS) as a subset for that diameter. This may be a question of personal preference, but that's the way I would do it.
  7. Cesaroni motors landing page appears to be blank
  8. Loki motors landing page appears to be a bookmark in the Cesaroni landing page (also blank)
I must say, it's pretty incredible to see the page evolving so quickly!

I Believe I live down the road from you. (I live right off Orefield road between the high school and junior high)

My backyard hits the baseball field of the Jr. High off Stadium Road- low power launches almost every weekend there with me & local kids. Sounds like I drive by your house daily to drop my daughter off at Parkland High - well, used to when the world was normal.

No More HAZMAT fees for you neighbor!

It sounds like people have received Estes rocket kits, which is good. Have any Aerotech motors been shipped?

Best price anywhere, hands down!

And that brings up a very important point -

There has been concern with my prices being low that I am "cheating", or not sending motors properly, or ? You are giving my main supplier an ulcer. All I can promise you is that everything will be shipped in the proper manner, HazMat where needed, etc. I plan on being around a very long time, and aside from the bumpy soft opening, I'm blessed with simply fantastic suppliers - and even better customers.

Now I dare someone to order another DoorKnob........

I like that you show actual number of items in stock/available for purchase. I made 2 orders last week, (both for kits) and after I successfully checked out with my payment, I saw that the inventory for the items I ordered immediately had gone down based on my orders, so the system seemed to work very well. :)

I have family in the Myerstown/Lebanon area. Not far from you. Great to know there will be another supplier in the area... but when will someone get a HPR launch going in that area?

I am actively working with other local enthusiasts to secure land to do just that - Stay Tuned.

IMPORTANT - It was not in my original plan, But within 6 months I will have a vendor truck on-site for East Coast launches. This was suggested by my main supplier, an "offer I cannot refuse" if you will. ;)

It is a fantastic idea with the support behind it - Awesome. Oh, and at the same prices.
