Hey folks :) I'm just reinflating this hobby and I'm discovering I really like gliders :) I have an estes Cosmos Mariner and in the past when I flew one the engine pod stuck and it was under powered. The being stuck thing maybe a little sanding on the rings but what do you guys think of upgunning it to an E94?

Best of luck. Everything I have read about is that it is a cool looking rocket that is a dawg (an not even a nice dawg) in flight.

Good hanger queen.

There are better looking and flying gliders out there.

What can I say I'm just determined lol

The only feeble pro I can offer up is that a few of the kids at the launch thought the wreck was cool.

The cons are obvious: lousy flight, underpowered for the weight.

Flight Rating: 1 out of 5

Summary:
There are very few rockets I've ever built that I felt were complete wastes of my time and money. This was definitely one of them. It might make a nice display model but not a good flyer.

Overall Rating: 2 out of 5

I read that to. I'm just wondering if it's underpowered if I can balance it with a bigger motor. It really is eye candy :)

Don't.

A bigger motor just makes it impact at a higher speed.

Hangar queen that one and go for the scissor wing transport.

I hear ya and I'm. Building one of those. I'm still going to check out running the queen lol

Maybe you could find an Astron Skydart 2 or use the plans for an upscale, that should glide fairly well if you balance it right.

I will give it some thought and thank you for a good suggestion.
