Went to Lowe's this morning, apparently they no longer sell Valspar spray paint!
Criminy.
Only Krylon and Rusto.
So I picked up a few cans of Krylon paint.
Hoping they don't clog up like Rusto.

Sprayed the second color on the Kram last night.
Forgot that the fins are supposed to be orange, so will have to mask and spray a third time later.

One was shot in the afternoon with natural sunlight coming through the window.
The second one was shot at night with fluorescent lights on.
The couch is a maroon color.
Or maybe it's a secret new color changing fabric?

Decals are on.
The decals are thin and old, and the big wrap around kept breaking apart.
Mistakes are on the other side of the pic.
Anyway, Kram is done.

Then the Excelsior Goony would be the .........
Never mind.
More later.

Some close ups before I ripped a decal.

Note to self: next time put a ruler up next to close ups.

If anyone finds or clones this build, either put the RPG on the wing or use either basswood of reinforced balsa for the dorsal fin and reinforce the RPG attachment, per my experience and on some RocketReviews posts, it frequently is, I guess we should say, accidentally deployed.

I launched the clones of the original Gooneybirds today.
All on A10-3T mini engines.
Cloud Hopper. Perfect flight.

Galaxy Guppy. CATO!

Missile Toe. Nominal flight but chute didn't unfurl.
No damage.

Sky Shriek. Nice flight but weak ejection.
Nose cone didn't pop, came in ballistic. No damage!

Star Snoop. Nominal flight, chute didn't unfurl. No damage.

Also launched the Zoom Broom but I've reached my weekly limit on Vimeo.
Will post that one in a few days
Cheers.

Too bad you can’t average the flights, the force of the CATO averaged over the flights would have probably deployed the chutes on the NoseBlowers!.

is the Guppy repairable, or is it permanently Belly Up?

I wonder if this is the first time all of the original set were launched back to back?
