Picked around 30 pounds of loquat fruit to give to family. Also did a little bit of online research on making loquat wine as there remains a ton of fruit still on all the trees. I think I can make 10 gallons of loquat wine this summer; I just need a few more carboys!

raked & shoveled dirt.
fed the mosquitoes
put water back into myself, to replenish what I oozed out in the process of "keeping cool"

Futzed with the landscape watering system.
Went to the grocery store.
Military press day...didn’t realize I wore my house slippers instead of weightlifting shoes until I was done...d’oh!

Had to wet sand and polish the car headlights...getting too foggy. 10 year old headlights look new again. Amazing the difference 15 minutes and some Maguire’s Ultimate can do.

Took the bag o' parts my brother gave me to figure out what was wrong with it (a Skil 7" Medusaw concrete scoring saw) bag o' parts aka basket case. Turns out that the power wire from the switch to the motor had shorted across the neutral terminal and each time the switch was used it would trip the built in circuit breaker (actually it tripped the house one), determining the issue and then running down that it was the ONLY issue took about 2 hours, then another hour to locate a new switch.

I cut out some unhealthy bushes that were too much of a problem during the afternoon. My son has been asking for a bike ramp to practice on, so I sketched up some plans and bought some lumber. I think a 10" rise over 48" will be gentle enough he can roll it from either direction and start getting a little air when he's ready.

Yesterday and today... Spent 9 hrs each day in a tractor working ground ahead of the planter for my brother. AND do it again tomorrow...
So far we've probably worked around 500 acres. And between all 4 tractors used over 600 gallons of diesel fuel. 😲😲

I guess it depends upon if your the land owner renting the land or the renter... :)
He (my brother) mostly rents the land he farms (over 3500 acres, and we're a small farm). I help out when I can. I enjoy it, but it's a little difficult. First off, I have to learn how to drive a modern tractor with GPS with field mapping capability... Do you know how hard it is to sit in a seat for 18 hours over two days and hardly ever use the steering wheel??? On my way back in to the GF's house this evening, I almost forgot to keep my hands on the steering wheel of my car during a long straight stretch of road. 😲😲

Took the wife on a drive over the Beartooth Highway. Great day for it. We get drifts up to 40 feet deep some places. Just opened it recently but the weather has been warm so it's melting fast. The pass is almost 11,000 ft. And yes you need to keep your hands on the wheel or else.

Montana.

The only ski area that is open during the summer ONLY.

Opens tomorrow.

I have family in Wyoming.
Yup. South out of Red Lodge. Make a great road for a hill climb, but that won't happen. They were skiing at the training site today, but the lift broke down.

I've got a '52 Ford Golden Jubilee. They clutch went out on it plowing snow this past winter so I need to split it and put in all new parts. Haven't done this before but it looks pretty straight forward. Thank God for YouTube. :)

I'm not a farmer but here's a factoid about Ferguson.
"In 2008 the Harry Ferguson Memorial gardens were officially opened, opposite the house he lived in, just outside Dromara, Co. Down. A life-size bronze sculpture of Ferguson by John Sherlock was erected in the garden depicting Ferguson leaning on a fence surveying the view. The gardens are open to the public."

Discovered a great use for the melamine foam (aka Mr. Clean Magic Eraser): cleaning glass shower doors. Got mine the cleanest they’ve been since I moved into this house:

Still some etching in the glass that I’ll never get out; I don’t know if these doors were *ever* properly cleaned before I moved in.

Also good for cleaning the inside of car windows.
I have watched that video multiple times, followed the given instructions, and didn't have much luck.

What finally changed my luck was to try one of the spray-can window cleaners like he uses (I think I got Invisible Glass). I find that stuff works well enough (in conjunction with good microfiber) that there's not much additional benefit from the Magic Eraser step. Just my experience so far.

@neil_w I discovered Invisible Glass maybe 10 years ago and it is my go to for cleaning my autoglass inside & out. Plus I am a Rainex fan. Check out this video.

I had good results with the magic eraser step once, in one car that I bought used. I think perhaps it depends on what combination of gunk and grease is on the window.
