Truly sad on their way to a youth basketball game, I watched Kobe from his first game and have seen the kids at games also, I think he has three others who have to deal with the loss of their father and sister now.

He did, 3 daughters, his oldest, one about 3 years, and one about 6-7 months old. It is sad.

Unfortunately, there were five other, less famous people on the helicopter. They all have families and loved ones, too. I hope we can keep *all* of them in our thoughts and prayers.

My girlfriend and i were talking about this very subject. The sheriff and investigators were not releasing victim names, so they arent at the front of conversation. The reason we know of Bryant is because other sources were aware he was on that flight and announced it almost instantly. (Some say TMZ announced before even his wife was notified). It's a sad business all around

All of that, plus the authorities can't release information prior to the families being notified and that could have taken some time, and there may be other procedures that law enforcement has to follow.

All I've been able to think about on this subject since learning of it
is Kobe's wife being told..
It's just unfathomable to have law enforcement knock on your door and tell you this..
It'd be worse to hear it on the news..
I do hope this isn't true..
