The original Wolverines were 37" of airframe and the short (13") cone, so 50". The *coming soon* Wolverines have 34" of airframe and utilize the long (21") cone, so 55".

I *think* Greg's is a Minie Magg with the long cone, but I could be wrong. Here's an old Wolverine at Hellfire 1!

...and the fin can of the new Wolverine.



As much as I love the Minie Magg design, I think the Wolverine is similar, yet superior in many ways. I think it's going to be a popular, large yet lightweight demo rocket...which will be a "go-to" sport rocket for I-J flights at Da Bong and beyond.

Happy New Year Guys/Gals. Eric, you are correct. I have a short Wolverine. Mini-Magg body with the long nose cone. Bought it from Pyro Bob on one of the Black Friday sales. Kit by Loc/Barry Lynch. It is 45 1/2 inches tall with a 38mm motor tube. I will need to get the new Wolverine kit, when it's available. Eric, the LaserLoc rocket looks great! See you at Bong. Greg

Every once over the summer launches I would here Frank say the launching of a Wolverine. Wasn't sure if it was a old LOC rocket.

Assuming the original LaserLocs pre-dated common laser cutting of ply fins, were they named thus because they flew fast and straight, perhaps...? (Or am I just overthinking this?)
Either way, intrigued by the Loc Wolverine, which I'd never heard of before...

I made my wolverine by requesting an iroc body tube instead of the shorter mini magg one. I do not know if the size was exact, but was close enough for me.

The fins look to have changed shape. New fin looks nice. When Wii they be ready for the market?

We're hoping the Laser's will be ready by February. There's a few in the field being tested as they'll have some conceptually new construction techniques that we've never seen offered from a manufacturer. Based on feedback it may be something we offer along other lines as well. Plans are for a 1.6 and 2.1" minimum diameter. With the 2.1 being fully dual deploy ready along with some other "add-on's"...

If yours is smaller, it might not be a Wolverine at all. Might be a Badger.
