Of course, if it was to get literally one rocket back, I'd love to get my Defender back, undamaged from the tree that it disappeared into... Back around 1987.
Estes gives you the chance to bring one rocket back. What would it be?

No question for me - the BT-70 2-motor Gemini-Titan from the 1960's. It got discontinued before my building and flying skills were up to taking it on. I *do* have a set of kit instructions, paint patterns, and a BMS nose cone of the proper shape & size...but the kit would be oh-so-much better!
I thought the K-21 was the original Gemini Titan?

They both use the PNC-60RL nosecone.

Now that's Camroc nostalgia!
There was another Camroc carrier also---It was a two stager with swept back fins. Anyone got one of those or a photo thereof??

Yes---that's it. I may have had both. Great catalogue pages. By the way, that changing bag for $1.25 was essential. I tried several flights and changed out the film holders in the field without a changing bag and they were all fogged when I developed them (Fogged = exposed to light). So, I started using the changing bag and finally got useful shots.
I don't think I have them any more but one showed the image of a person. Or, a dot, with attached shadow of my friend. It was taken at a little airport where parachuting was going on and the long mat they packed the 'chutes on is clearly visible too.
Also got a vivid shot of a graveyard that was adjacent to my flying field. The head stones (or the shados they cast) clearly visible.
Sure wish I had all those shots still, not to mention a Camroc,film, and darkroom. A different--vanished--world! Good times...

The Battlestar (Galactica) rockets. Including the Laser Torpedo. And if there's any way and chance that the engineers can design a Cylon Raider rocket that would actually work this time around, then I'd like to see the one that Estes never produced become available to the public. The Viper is my all-time favorite. I've built scores of scratch builds of it in my youth.
Just finished refurbishing one of these. Bought a guys old collection from WI. that had one that was assembled with School Glue and tape. Nice thing is I was able to literally pull it apart.
Stripped it down and rebuilt correctly with 24mm motor and wood glue. Also hand cut new vinyl decals. Looks pretty good and should really go on the 24mm.
Why wait for a re-issue when you can get one from the Rocket Garden?

They just did...the Black Brant...my 1st rocket. Bought it at a Kay Bee toy store at a mall in 1987 when I was 13. I still remember choosing it because it used the most ginormous of all rocket motors...the mighty D. Well, that was as mighty as it got at my Kay Bee store. Anyway, i painted it in my school colors...red & gold. After many successful launches I made the mistake of firing it off just before sunset one summer evening & lost it in the red, yellow & orange sky...c'est la vie...
I think I'll build 2, one in box-art...the other red & gold.

Considering the proliferation of fin pods and such on many of John Boren’s past/current designs a Starship Vega E would fit in very well.

Definitely the Omega, followed by the full-size Mars Lander. I originally bought the Cineroc version of the Omega as my second rocket (after an Alpha starter kit) when I was 15 (1971). Frankly, the Omega was out of my league, so I went and bought an SV (duh), built it, tried to use it for my first attempt at clustering on its first flight (duh and duh). Long story short, it took five seconds for my Saturn V to go from a lovely scale rocket to a useless approximation of an accordian.
But to the point I next got a Mars Lander and a Transport with parasite glider. Both kits gave me flight after wonderful flight. Only tough part is replacing rubber bands on the ML, which do wear out.
Finally, 20 Years after that built-but-unflown Omega, I wandered into a K-Mart of all places and there was an Estes starter kit built around the Omega. I snatched it up for about $25. It had a hard, injection-molded NC and flew like the proverbial homesick angel.
So yes, give it back to me.

Great idea. I made the mistake of putting a C in mine. Hasa La Vista, Baby!an updated 'Wac Corporal' updated w/a 13mm motor mount and streamer recovery.

On the subject of the Wac Corporal, I would like to see a BT-55 or BT-60 version, with a 24mm motor mount.

With so many variations of the WAC Corporal available from ASP I’d have to use my one wish for something else - though if Estes DID a BT-60 version I’d definitely buy one
Of course, there is always the "Astron Nighthawk" . . .
Oh yeah, I always wanted one of those!
